Clash Royale: Best Way To Get Free Elite Wild Cards (Fastest Method)

Clash Royale: Best Way To Get Free Elite Wild Cards (Fastest Method)

The Level 15 card upgrade was probably one of the most hated updates in Clash Royale‘s history from the community’s standpoint. What made it even worse, however, was the new method of upgrading cards to Level 15, making it much harder to accomplish compared to Level 14.

Of course, those who pay for cards will eventually get all their cards to Level 15, but Free-to-Play gamers are the ones who suffer the most here. Unfortunately, there is no way to get your cards to Level 15 instantly, but there is indeed a small trick that can be used to increase your chances of getting Elite Wild Cards for free.

How To Get Free Elite Wild Cards Faster In Clash Royale

Level-14-Cards---Clash-Royale

With the removal of chests from the victory rewards in Clash Royale, players are now only limited to 4 Lucky Drops per day, and every victory only guarantees cards for a single troop rather than multiple of them. This significantly reduces the chances of getting Elite Wild Cards unless the player forces the game to do so, and there is only one way to force it.

If a troop from the player’s library is already at Level 14, and if that troop is supposed to get cards after a victory, it will receive Elite Wild Cards instead of regular cards. So, what would happen if all your cards were already at Level 14? That means every victory in Clash Royale will reward the player with Elite Wild Cards for free.

So, the key here is to focus on upgrading every single card to Level 14 first. For example, if you have multiple cards that are ready to be upgraded to Level 12 but also one card to upgrade to Level 14, it is always best to seal the deal with Level 14, as it will increase your chances of getting Elite Wild Cards, even if it’s a small boost.

Another important tip to consider is to never buy Elite Wild Cards from the Shop in exchange for coins. While it may look like a decent deal, it actually is not. The game charges players 100,000 coins to only give them 5,000 Elite Wild Cards. This is only 10% of the amount of Elites required for upgrading a single card to Level 15 while you are paying the total cost of a Level 14 upgrade.

Simply put, a player will need to pay 1,000,000 coins to get all the Elite Wild Cards required to upgrade a single card to Level 15, while they can literally upgrade 10 cards to Level 14 with the same amount of coins, significantly boosting their chances of receiving Elite Wild Cards from regular matches without paying anything.

Aside from victories, Elite Wilds Cards can also be earned from Lucky Drops, and the Royale Pass has plenty of them to offer. So, the best you can do to draw Elite Wild Cards from these drops is to open all of them at the end of every season. Throughout the season, you will still have the chance to upgrade more cards to Level 14, and when you open Lucky Drops at the end of the season, you will have more chances to draw one of those Level 14 cards as rewards and receive Elite Wild Cards instead.
