A lot has happened in Helldivers 2 over the last couple of days. The Jet Brigade might be back, the wormhole is acting up, and the atmosphere is quite suspenseful. So, is there a better way to take a break from all that chaos than looking at what might come in the future? Some Helldivers 2 leaks claim a Cargo Container Objective could be added at some point.
Leaks Show off the Cargo Container Objective
One prolific leaker, IronS1ghts, always manages to hit the sweet spot and give the players some juicy leaks promising an exciting future. This time, the leaker managed to delight the players by suggesting a new Objective could become a part of the game.
The OP noted: “(Leak) Cargo Container Objective. Not much info on this at the moment, but there is an objective code-named “Cargo Container”, which has you calling in a Pelican that drops a cargo container. There is also a vehicle linked to this objective that has the name “Cargo Car”. It’s unknown what the container is used for, but I suspect we will be capturing and transporting something to and from the container”.
That’s quite an intriguing description, so, hopefully, this Objective won’t end up being scrapped. As always, IronS1ghts also posted several images that showcase how the leaked content might look. The pictures below show Pelicans carrying rather huge metal cargo containers.
Helldivers 2 Players Love the Concept of the New Objective
The leaks of this Objective truly excited the Helldivers 2 community. It’s been a while since the devs added any new content, so the players loved seeing that something was being worked on.
One player, Damy, noted: “Man new objectives will be bada**. This one is intriguing for damn sure”. Another player, Juman Jerson, suggested: “Maybe this is something like capturing a Terminid specimen from in the Gloom to be studied”. That would tie in nicely with the recent excursions to the planets bordering the Gloom.
Tristan1236 recalled: “In HD1, there was the escort the train objective. Perhaps this is the new version. Having to drive with the cargo and reach an extraction point without it being destroyed”. We’d guess that this would be the Objective.
However, keep in mind that any of the leaks you see could be altered or scrapped. So, don’t get your hopes too high. We’ll let you know the moment we find out more.
