Bloober Team announced their next project as soon as Silent Hills 2 Remake was released. Now, after a few months, they finally announced a showcase for Cronos: The New Dawn.
Bloober Team is a Polish video game development company known for spooky titles like Layers of Fear (2016), Blair Witch (2019), and the immensely successful Silent Hill 2 Remake. After the whole experience with the Silent Hill 2 Remake, the Polish developer team announced that they are already working on a new project called Cronos: The New Dawn. It will be another horror game (something Bloober Team is really good at), set in a post-apocalyptic Poland, “where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology”. The initial trailers looked immensely cool, and now we’ll finally get to see some more, as a Cronos: The New Dawn showcase has been announced for next week.
Cronos The New Dawn Showcase Announced
On March 13, Bloober Team posted on the Cronos The New Dawn X page that will reveal a bit more about Cronos: The New Dawn on March 20.
“Tune into the #FutureGamesShow Spring Showcase next week for exclusive insights about #CronosNewDawn! Then watch FGS Live From GDC to learn even more!”
The Future Games Show Spring Showcase will be held on March 20 at 1pm PT / 4pm ET / 8pm GMT.
They continue saying that we can expect to see some exclusive dev interviews, short gameplay snippets, answers to some of the community’s questions, and a tease of “something more”. About that last one, near the end of February 2025, Konami announced that they teamed up with Bloober Team once more for another joint project based on Konami’s IP. It can be another Silent Hill game, or maybe Castlevania, Metal Gear, or something else.
We will definitely know more on March 20, so stay tuned.
