One LEGO fan has showcased their building skills by recreating High Lord Wolnir from Dark Souls 3. The Dark Souls franchise is known for its challenging boss fights, and this LEGO build is an impressive tribute to one of FromSoftware’s more unnerving encounters.
There are all sorts of LEGO sets for aspiring builders to purchase, from partnerships with popular media franchises to original designs. However, many fans prefer to build their own custom LEGO creations using the brand’s wide assortment of bricks. Builders often share their designs, revealing what is possible when they put their minds to it.

LEGO Version of High Lord Wolnir From Dark Souls 3
One of these incredible designs was recently showcased on Reddit by Kata157, revealing a LEGO recreation of High Lord Wolnir. The spooky boss from Dark Souls 3 translated well to brick form, with the builder copying many of his iconic design elements. Notably, the LEGO replica featured the boss’s skeletal form and included his crown. In addition, they placed golden bracelets around his wrists, a pivotal part of defeating High Lord Wolnir in Dark Souls 3. Beyond the jewelry, Kata157 built the holy sword, which the boss wielded in the game. They finished off the build by including a minifigure to battle the enormous skeleton.
While the recreation looked incredible in the light, the Reddit user also included a picture in the dark. As many fans on Reddit pointed out, this made the recreation look even more like its in-game counterpart. Kata157 even gave the skeleton glowing green eyes, adding to the eerie appearance. So far, the reception for this LEGO version of High Lord Wolnir has been overwhelmingly positive, with more than 2.2K users upvoting the post on Reddit. In the comments, the creator talked about the challenges of the project, including connecting the arms to the skeletal body.
As seen in the Reddit comments, many gamers have fond memories of fighting High Lord Wolnir in Dark Souls 3. While some players found the fight somewhat tedious, they loved the design of the boss. In the game, the goal is to destroy High Lord Wolnir’s bracelets, ideally before he summons enemies or his holy sword. Adding to the tension, the fight takes place in the darkness near a pit from which the boss is trying to emerge.
Given how many iconic Dark Souls bosses have been created by FromSoftware over the years, LEGO builders like Kata157 have no shortage of options when considering new builds to create. Unfortunately, there are no official Dark Souls sets for fans to purchase. However, passionate fans could help fill the void with more unique designs like this one in the coming months.
