It follows suit from the previous chapters and takes it to the next degree.

Deltarune Chapter 3: 100% Walkthrough
The third chapter of Deltarune centers around Tenna’s TV Time game show, and players can discover several secrets in between rounds.
1
Drinking The Oasis
Thirsty, Huh?
Typically, in a player’s first playthrough of Chapter 3, they will initiate the Lanino and Elnina battle by letting Lancer block the water with his digging ability, thereby drying up the oasis. But between Lanino and Elnina, players can interact with the Oasis. Doing this heals the party, as Kris drinks the Oasis. Do this eight times, and the entire board dries up, initiating the Lanino and Elnina battle a bit earlier.
This changes a few key details. Rescuing Lancer no longer requires the Power Croissant, as the player can now simply interact with the cactus holding Lancer to free him. It’s not that big of a chance, but it’s a fun way to get to one of the key battles of the chapter earlier, and comes with some unique interactions.
2
Five Keys
Unlocking Hidden Depths
The first board in Chapter 3 requires the player to find three keys to progress. In reality, there are actually four to be found, or five on a player’s second run-through of the chapter. Collecting all five isn’t necessary, but it does net the player bonus points once the board is finished.
One key is under a cactus, another is purchasable in the shop for 250 points. Another is dug up by Lancer at the L-spot, and another can be found after giving the Sphynx two Q’s. The extra one that can be obtained in a second playthrough is in a room full of weeds. Susie will pull these weeds up and find bombs. She will toss these about the room, and surviving this onslaught will net the player an extra key.
3
Four Grand Photos
Sneaky Snapshots
Three Grand Photos are required to pass through to the ocean, but there are actually four throughout the board, offering players some flexibility in how they choose to progress. It doesn’t matter what order players grab them in.
These include taking a photo of a cactus, half of a sunflower, a red antlion, and Lancer riding a geyser of green in the hot spring room. These are all relatively easy to find, and will likely be discovered on a regular playthrough. Getting all four photos will mean bonus points at the end of the board.

Hidden Jokes
A Toby Fox Staple
Deltarune Chapter 3 is the funniest chapter yet, and it’s full of hidden jokes. When Ralsei first turns into a block, and asks the player to push him, if the player waits too long, Tenna completes the puzzle for the player. A screen then flashes, showing a real Ralsei plush lying face first on the ground with the caption “Why Didn’t You Push Him?”
During the Rouxls Kaard fight, when the player is supposed to click on the moving Lancer icons during the first batch of henchmen, wait for a while. Eventually, the Lancer icon will become an Annoying Dog icon. Pressing that will summon the Annoying Dog, and show a Super Smash Bros. style intro screen, before disappearing completely and giving the player +20% for the henchmen’s pacification.
When encountering the Water Cooler for the second time, attempt to leave the room. The Water Cooler will follow the player out of the room. Return inside, and the Water Cooler is closer. Go back outside, where the case is the same. Players can do this repeatedly until surrounded by Water Coolers. This doesn’t change the fight, it’s just a fun gag.
5
Secret Rank Rooms
Television Victory
Rank reward doors open depending on how well the player does on each of the boards. C, B, A, and S are typical. There are, however, two more that open if the player gets either a T-Rank or a Z-Rank. The T-Rank room is littered with screens showcasing models of Tenna doing his T-V Pose, and a manual on the far left explaining just that.
Opening the Z-Rank door will lead players down a corridor to a dingy, forgotten room. With the music, and the posters on the wall, it seemingly hints towards Spamton and Tenna’s past. But what’s really interesting is the manhole. Entering it takes Kris to the S-Rank room, where they can find the first steps towards gaining the item to defeat the secret boss.
6
Starwalker
The Original
Starwalker is one of the most obscure Easter eggs in the game, yet he’s also the most recurring. He is found in the first chapter in the Card Kingdom’s forest. After ringing the bell to get rid of the flying starwalkers, backtrack, and there the “original” Starwalker will be standing. Interacting with him gives a funny bit of dialogue, and seemingly, that’s all.

Deltarune: 8 Best Songs In The Game, Ranked
Deltarune features some truly incredible pieces of music throughout each of its chapters, but these particular songs easily rank among the best.
He shows up in every subsequent chapter if the player meets him in Chapter 1, repeating that he is the Original Starwalker. In Chapter 3, after defeating Rouxls Kaard, Lanino and Elnina break up with Rouxls. Once he exits, the two bear their hearts for each other, and express that the only ones for them are each other — and the Original Starwalker. This joke will only happen if the player encounters Starwalker in Chapter 1.

Spamton’s Return
[WOAH MAMA]
Spamton G. Spamton is one of the fandom’s most beloved side characters, and in certain contexts, he’ll make his return in Chapter 3. After defeating Spamton Neo in Chapter 2, the player will have either the Dealmaker armor, or the Puppet Scarf, depending on whether they beat him through ACTing or fighting respectively. When traveling through the TV World, interact with a strange green monitor. This opens the Bonus Zone.
There are a few fun interactions in the Bonus Zone, but the highlight is a suspicious drawer. When the player opens it, a Pipis falls out, triggering a cutscene in which Tenna runs over in shock and terror that someone found his “darkest secret.” If the player has the Dealmaker or Puppet Scarf, Spamton appears, sending Tenna into shock before spraying him with shaving cream.
8
The Egg
All That For An Egg
Strangely enough, finding The Egg in Chapter 3 is the most complicated thing in the chapter, with seemingly little benefit. It’s a long, treacherous journey that, if not done in a certain way, can lock the player out of getting the egg entirely. The previous chapters’ eggs were also hidden behind trees, but were far easier to find.
As of Chapter 4, the eggs seem to have no real reason to collect them, besides being displayed on Berdley’s desk. However, this could change at any time in the future, so it’s best to collect them while the player still can.
9
Beyond The Sea
Bizarre Implications
On the second board, if the player goes north repeatedly, Tenna starts getting antsy, telling Kris and the Fun Gang that there isn’t anything up there. If the player continues, they’ll encounter patches of white sand. Tenna will cut to a TV with no signal screen, and the player will be sent to an earlier dock. Returning north, the area will be blocked with signs.
Once Tenna leaves to take a call, players can return to this area. Susie will use her Power Crossaint to toss the sign away, allowing the player to go past. All that’s up there is more white sand, and the player can hop off the raft and explore a bit. As they return, Susie and Ralsei have a short interaction, with Ralsei seeming especially rattled by going up there.
If the player doesn’t travel there with Tenna, and waits until he leaves, they can still go north while he’s gone. The signs will not be there, but it will be accessible.

“Beating” The Roaring Knight
Pushing Past The Shadow
The battle against The Roaring Knight at the end of Chapter 3 is an intimidating one, especially during a first playthrough. They will wipe the floor with the party, and the story will continue. It seems to be a scripted loss, but this isn’t the case. With plenty of preparation, the player can “defeat” the Roaring Knight, and gain another Shadow Crystal.

Deltarune features an array of ridiculously challenging bosses. Out of them all, however, these particular foes are easily the hardest.
To do this, players must get an S-Rank on both boards to open the S-Rank Room. Head inside, and enter the beta version of the board the player was just on. This will be the same case for board 2. After that, the player will make their way back to this board after they run through the actual TV World.
