It is obviously not ufotable’s fault, but the entire Infinity Castle trilogy will have some negative impact on the industry. Eventually, more and more people will come to expect other anime series to release movies of similar caliber. Furthermore, it will cause other studios to try and release movies instead of regular television series. They will want to attain similar success in terms of earnings. It could potentially lead to a massive influx of anime movies, causing the regular format to die out.

If the studio somehow manages to pull it off, then Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie 2 might be released in early 2027, and movie 3 will premiere in late 2028.
