Destiny 2‘s next expansion, The Edge of Fate, has officially been revealed by Bungie, with the new DLC coming equipped with a few bonuses for those who pre-order. Players who purchase The Edge of Fate ahead of its release will receive two special instant-unlock bonus items, an exclusive Legendary Emblem, as well as an exclusive Exotic Ghost shell. These are hardly the only new pieces of content to be featured in The Edge of Fate, though, which brings Destiny 2 into an exciting and uncharted new chapter.

Much like its predecessor, Destiny 2 is an experience that continues to deliver all these years later, with the game set to turn another page this summer. In 2024, players wrapped Destiny 2‘s decade-spanning Light and Darkness saga with The Final Shape, an action-packed finale that delivered resolutions for those who have kept up with the game’s story and lore. New weapons and items were also introduced, of course, adding on to Destiny 2‘s already daunting number of options. However, it’s out with the old and in with the new, with Bungie detailing Destiny 2′s exciting next chapter.

The Edge of Fate officially launches on July 15, though players who purchase the expansion now can enjoy some exclusive rewards. These pre-order bonuses were revealed alongside the new expansion and include an Exotic shell for Ghost, players’ main companion and guide in Destiny 2, as well as a new Legendary Emblem. These items will help show others that players were early adopters of The Edge of Fate, which marks a bold and exciting new era for Destiny 2 and Bungie as a whole.
