“Devs Fixed the Inari Bug! Oh, Wait…” Helldivers 2 Players Report Experiencing Burnout From Fighting the Predator Strain

“Devs Fixed the Inari Bug! Oh, Wait…” Helldivers 2 Players Report Experiencing Burnout From Fighting the Predator Strain

It’s been a long week for Helldivers worldwide. Quite a lot of time has passed since the players had a chance to fight Terminids, and many jumped at the chance. However, due to some bugs (the non-Terminid kind), the road to victory has been rocky. It finally seemed that all was well, and Helldivers 2 players returned to Inari, but the Predator Strain was already there, waiting for them.

What’s the Deal With Inari?

As you know, the latest Major Order sends the players to defend five planets from the Terminids. It started on June 10, and it lasts until June 17. So far, it’s going well. The Helldivers are standing their ground.

However, the latest patch introduced some problems. The defense missions were, once again, bugged, and sometimes, the enemies wouldn’t show up. This was a huge problem, especially on Inari. Well, on June 13, a new Inari defense began.

Players rushed to join, only to realize there’s been a… development. The Predator Strain attacked Inari and Alta V, and… Helldivers aren’t too happy about it. Actually, hardly any players are happy because of this development.

Helldivers 2 Players Are Annoyed That the Predator Strain Attacked Inari and Alta V

Obviously, the situation is far less than ideal for many Helldivers. The main problem is that the Predator Strain is active on both MO planets. That means that if players wanted to contribute to the Major Order, their only option would be to fight the Predator Strain.

BLODI_POKO noted: “Why, just why? They are more stale than squids at this point. Just gtfo with this and give us a different strain god damn it”. Another player added: “I get the feeling, I am tired of Predator strain. They are cool, but also straining (pun not intended but there it is); they should be a sometimes treat, not a constant enemy”.

Octi1432 stated: “I am so tired of fighting this stupid sub-faction, I have been fighting it since it first appeared, and I genuinely cannot stand it anymore. It’s just boring, it sometimes straight up feels like they have replaced normal bugs, everywhere I go at this point, predator strain, predator strain, predator strain”.

Even though many Helldivers (around 48k on Inari and around 27k on Alta V) are braving the storm, we’d like to remind you that you don’t have to. Just like it was completely fine for bugdivers to take a break during the Battle for Super Earth, it’s completely fine for any and all players to take a break now.

Unfortunately, even Helldivers experience burnout sometimes. If you find fighting the Predator Strain to be too much, feel free to fight on the other two fronts. Furthermore, you can always take a break from the game until the end of the MO or until you feel ready to come back.

And, don’t worry, your fellow Helldivers have your back! Nothing too catastrophic will happen while you’re away! If you’re among the players who want to brave this storm, let’s do it together! Meet us on Inari, we’ll be in our new Force of Law drip. For Liberty and Super Earth.
