Does Schedule 1 have crossplay?

Schedule 1 is a different type of fun when you’re playing with friends, but there are certain limitations regarding crossplay support.

The new release has surprised the gaming world, and it’s available on Steam in early access. Unfortunately, Schedule 1 is limited in accessibility, preventing console players from enjoying the content. It’s the same reason we don’t have crossplay in the game now, as PC players face no platform-based restrictions when playing in the same lobby.

Is Schedule 1 cross-platform

Again, Schedule 1 is exclusively available on PC only and will likely remain so until early access is over. This pattern is followed by indies and AAA titles like Baldur’s Gate 3. Games tend to get console launches only after completing early access on PC.

Whether Schedule 1 will eventually arrive on Xbox and PlayStation consoles remains to be seen. There hasn’t been any information about future console releases as of writing. You’ll also face problems if you’re trying to load the game on a Mac. There’s no native support for Apple’s devices; the only alternative is using a Virtual Machine (although they’re highly unoptimized).

Will Schedule 1 have crossplay?

The answer will depend on whether we get a console release in the future. If the game remains available only on PC, the question of crossplay becomes redundant. If Schedule 1 gets a console release, we will have crossplay support. But that’s just my prediction, and there’s no official news at the moment.

If you’re on PC, you can play with up to three other people in the same lobby. As I said, playing with your friends allows you to have a different type of experience, as you’ll rely less on the dealers, and make decisions that are not possible playing solo.
