The solution for the don’t forget to put out the fires clue is some bright green flames in the Forgotten Lands biome. This region is situated near the very northwest corner of the vast DDV island. The flames appear as small dirt mounds with tall, moving green fire sticking up out of them.

Green flames plague the entire area, so there are plenty of them to remove. Your treasure can drop from any flame in the area, so get to work clearing away as many as it takes to find what you’re seeking. It’s possible you’ll find it right away, but it’s also possible that it might take you several tries.

The word “forget” in this clue is a subtle reference to the Forgotten Lands, but it’s a pretty subtle one, so it’s one of the trickier ones to solve. Once you’re in the right area, equip your Royal Watering Can and use it to wash away all flames you come across until a golden treasure chest you can open drops from one.

In this area, you’ll find both massive, roaring green flames and some smaller ones. They’re all fairly easy to spot since this biome is quite dark otherwise, but be sure to check all corners and any areas blocked off by buildings, houses, or other furniture you have placed around.
