Players who purchase Elden Ring Nightreign before its release date on May 30, 2025 will receive a special reward. Whether you get the standard edition or the deluxe edition, if you preorder Nightreign, you will get the “It’s Raining!” gesture. This gesture sees your Nightfarer kneel down and open their arms as if to welcome the incoming Night.
This gesture is not unique to Nightreign preorders, you just get access to it earlier than normal. The “Let It Rain” gesture can be learned without preordering the game.
All Nightreign Deluxe Edition Rewards
The Deluxe Edition of Elden Ring Nightreign is $54.99, about a $15 increase over the standard edition of the game. For that, you will get access to a host of special rewards, including access to an as-of-yet-unannounced Nightreign DLC. Specifically, the Elden Ring Nightreign Deluxe Edition contents include:
- Digital access to Elden Ring Nightreign
- Access to the Nightreign Digital Artbook
- Access to the Nightreign Digital Soundtrack
- Access to additional DLC (to be announced at a later date).
The Digital Artbook and Soundtrack are both great for hardcore fans of Elden Ring, but the additional DLC is arguably the highlight of the Deluxe Edition rewards. Players who choose to purchase this special edition will be able to access the Nightreign DLC when it launches, though FromSoftware has not yet revealed much information about this expansion aside from the fact that it will include new characters and bosses.

Elden Ring Nightreign Collector’s Edition Rewards
The Nightreign Collector’s Edition comes with several exclusive physical rewards, but it’s a bit pricey at $199.99. However, for this, you will get collectible items that are exclusive to this edition of the game. In addition to the rewards of the Deluxe Edition, you will also receive:
- A 25cm statue of Wylder, designed by Pure Arts
- A Steelbook game case with a color illustration of Wylder, which includes a physical copy of Elden Ring Nightreign
- Eight Tarot cards that depict the eight Nightfarers
- A hardcover, physical copy of the Nightreign Artbook
- A Nightreign Collector’s Box intended to display the Wylder statue and Artbook
The Collector’s Edition of Nightreign is only available for purchase directly from Bandai Namco.
Is Elden Ring Nightreign Deluxe Edition Worth It?
If you are a hardcore Elden Ring and FromSoftware fan, the Nightreign Deluxe Edition rewards seem quite reasonably priced for everything you get. For longtime fans, it can be exciting to look through the Nightreign Digital Artbook and see how the game’s artistic direction developed alongside the original foundations Elden Ring laid. But this, and the digital soundtrack, might not be very enticing for a player who wants concrete in-game rewards from their Deluxe Edition purchase.
The Nightreign Deluxe Edition contents also include access to the game’s planned DLC when it launches on an unannounced date. Even if you never touch the Artbook or Soundtrack, $15 to guarantee that you’ll have access to these new playable characters and bosses is not too bad, though we don’t know the price or specifics of the DLC yet.
Ultimately, if you’re a big Elden Ring fan and are really excited to play Nightreign, the Nightreign Deluxe Edition is worth the $15 over the standard edition. However, if you don’t think you will check out the Digital Artbook, Soundtrack, or are iffy on whether you will stick with the game long enough to experience its DLC, it may be better to wait. If you end up enjoying the game, you can always upgrade to the Deluxe Edition later on, or purchase the DLC separately when it releases.
