Elden Ring: 27 Easiest Bosses
Not all Elden Ring bosses are created equal; here are the easiest ones that players can take on.
How to Unlock & Start The Forsaken Hollows DLC in Elden Ring Nightreign
Elden Ring NIghtreign is essentially built upon a roguelike mechanic that, for the most part, wipes the slate clean after each expedition. Every permanent unlock in the game must be earned while on these expeditions, and the content featured in The Forsaken Hollows is no different. With that in mind, we’ll provide you with all the known information on how to unlock all available content in The Forsaken Hollows DLC for Elden Ring Nightreign.
How to Unlock the New Nightfarer Characters:
To unlock the new Nightfarers – the Scholar and Undertaker – you’ll first need to complete the Tricephalos Expedition. We recommend using Holy Weapons for this run, as well as its final boss, Gladius.
Once you’ve completed the Tricephalos Expedition, return to the Roundtable Hold and speak with the Iron Menial, who will reveal a message from the Small Jar Merchant. This is all the information FromSoftware has revealed as yet, so if there are any further steps required to unlock these new characters in The Forsaken Hollows, we’ll have to add them as soon as they are available.
How to Unlock New Bosses & Shifting Earth Event:
The Forsaken Hollows features two new major bosses, and players who have spent any time with the base game will likely suspect that locating them will require several steps. And in this case, they would not be wrong. To unlock what they are calling “Balancers,” you’ll need to meet the following conditions:
- Defeat at least two main game bosses, which must include the Tricephalos boss.
- You must unlock both new Nightfarers, the Scholar and the Undertaker.
- Once you’ve met these conditions, head to the Small Jar Merchant and a new chapel should open behind them.
- You should now be able to take on the new Shifting Earth event, “The Great Hollows,” as well as the “Balancers” boss expedition.
Once The Forsaken Hollows has been released, and we have taken on the new content ourselves, we will provide more details for context and clarification. For now, these instructions should be considered a work in progress.
