A game so popular that it is even considered a classic by some, Oblivion is one of the most cherished ES games. It was not the revolutionary gameplay or a gripping story, but the game as a whole, with its goofy NPCs, open world, and some pretty great visuals. So, the prospect of this almost 20-year-old game getting a remake would be well received by all. As it turns out, the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remake is not far away; allegedly, it will be released soon, possibly even tomorrow.
Released in 2006, Oblivion is the fourth major installment of the Elder Scrolls series. It was the first ES title to have every NPC fully voiced, and it was praised as the best Elder Scrolls game to date, only overshadowed by the immensely popular Skyrim. Now, rumors state that the Oblivion Remake is close at hand, ever closer than we think.
Elder Scrolls Oblivion Remake May Be Released Soon
According to various insiders, the Remake of Elder Scrolls: Oblivion is scheduled to (shadow) drop in April. NateTheHate2, a well-known insider, said last month: “Both the release and reveal are targeting next month (April). The gap between the reveal and release will be minimal — a shadow drop is possible.”
Well, it’s April now, and another respectable insider, Detective Seeds, first said: “I believe the Oblivion remake is going to release end of next week, likely Thursday, April 3rd. Then 13 days later Indiana Jones on the 16th on PS5, and then 13 days later Forza Horizon 5 on 29th on PS5.”
He followed up by saying: “Contact on this (Bethesda contact not a PlayStation one) is reiterating that this project is coming this week or next. They gave me the Doom Dark Ages preview info and that was correct, so I am trusting this info as well. Just being transparent.”
So if they are to be believed (and no reason not to), if not tomorrow, then we can expect Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remake somewhere next week. Hopefully, these assumptions will prove true.
