Which one should you pick
Both cards have great in-game stats, and they are very economical. Almost anyone should have the fodder required for completing the SBC. However, Gavi’s item is better before the upgrades. He can operate in a couple of positions, and he is ideally suited to the CM position. He has two great playstyle+ in Tiki Taka and Pinged Pass. The rest of his playstyles are pretty great, and so are his passing stats.
If he gets an upgrade, the card will improve a lot. If not, you should still be able to use this 89-rated item in an ongoing evolution. For 50,000 coins worth of fodder, it’s a no-brainer.
That said, Nico Gonzalez could be a good addition if you need an attacker. Moreover, Atletico will be playing the match at home, making them favorites in the clash (and Nico for the upgrades). However, Gavi will still be my choice, considering the respective pros and cons of both cards.
