“For the Forsaken!” A New Custom Campaign Mod Mixes Baldur’s Gate 3 and World of Warcraft

Ever wanted to wander Tirisfal Glades from classic WoW with your Tav? Well, now you can, as there is a new custom campaign mod in development that mixes Baldur’s Gate 3 and World of Warcraft, and you can test it out right now.

It seems that modding is the way to go when it comes to BG3. With over a thousand mods available (and that’s just on Nexus Mods), the options and possibilities are endless. You have the simpler ones, adding more cosmetic options, some more complex ones (like the popular “No Party Limit”), all the way to a full-blown campaign, like Spelljammer. And now, another campaign is in the works, this time merging BG3 with the ever-popular WoW.

“Forsaken” – A Baldur’s Gate 3 Mod Brings You to Tirisfal Galdes From World of Warcraft Classic

On February 2, a new mod was uploaded to Nexus Mods. Made by SquallyDaBeanz, it is a teaser level of a larger campaign in the making. “”Forsaken” is a custom modded campaign set in the universe of Warcraft. It is a recreation of the Undead starting zone “Tirisfal Glades” (Classic/Vanilla) from World of Warcraft. This release includes only the teaser level starting area. It’s meant to be part of a full campaign one day!“ is the official description.

It follows the story of the Undead character, waking up free from the Lich King’s control, just like you do in the original WoW. The mod, for now, only offers a teaser level, with about an hour or so of game time, where you will encounter other undead, spiders, and of course, the Scarlet Crusade members. You can see a short review for this mod, by Veteran Joystick.

The full mod, when it is released, will expand on the story and allegedly bring the whole Undead starter zone from WoW into the game. Unfortunately, there is no info on the release date. But, until we know more, be sure to check out the teaser level. A treat for any WoW fan, that’s for sure.
