Fans were overjoyed when Goku Black hit the Item Shop on May 13, 2023.
Players can either purchase Goku Black by himself or acquire the bundle to acquire his Charging Up emote, the Ki-Scythe, and the Ki-Sword pickaxes for an additional 800 V-Bucks.

Beerus was added into Fortnite, accompanied by his Seer Fish as his back-bling.
This character also has its very own unique effect. When using the ki emotes, Beerus’s ki glows purple rather than white. This skin looks amazingly similar to its anime counterpart and is definitely one of the best anime skins in Fortnite. Perhaps fans may be able to purchase Whis one day in the future so that they can pair Whis and Beerus together in the battle royale.

11
Son Gohan
Part of the Son Gohan Bundle
- Price: 1,800 V-Bucks / 2,200 V-Bucks (Son Gohan bundle)
- Included with Son Gohan: Gohan’s Cape back bling and Gohan’s Charging Up Built-in emote
- Release date: January 31, 2023
Though Fortnite unveiled its Dragon Ball crossover event around the same time that Dragon Ball Super Super Hero was released, neither Gohan nor Piccolo were included as part of the character outfits that were available to players. Some players were disappointed by this, but luckily, Fortnite eventually added Gohan to the Item Shop as another Dragon Ball event swept the game’s servers in early 2023.
Though Gohan doesn’t have access to his Beast form, it is still epic running around as Gohan wearing Piccolo’s cloak. However, Gohan does have a harvesting tool that references his Beast form. His second style option is his Super Saiyan form. The character, much like Vegeta and Goku, has a built-in emote that allows him to switch styles mid-game by transforming. If the player uses the emote as Super Saiyan Gohan, Gohan goes through more effort to transform, referencing his Potential Unleashed transformation.
12
Piccolo
Includes the Power Awakening Style
- Price: 1,800 V-Bucks / 2,200 V-Bucks (Piccolo bundle)
- Included with Piccolo: Piccolo’s Cape and Turban, Piccolo’s Demon Symbol back bling, and Piccolo’s Charging Up Built-in emote
- Release date: January 31, 2023
Not only did fans receive Gohan as a Dragon Ball skin to use in Fortnite, but they also got Piccolo as part of Fortnite’s second crossover event with the Dragon Ball anime. Piccolo is featured in his signature look, which he has been sporting since the start of Dragon Ball Z. This, of course, is his purple demon gi.
Piccolo also has access to his white cloak and turban as a back-bling, but fans may want to use Piccolo’s Demon Symbol instead. The Demon King has a miniature form of his house as a harvesting tool too. Not only do Piccolo fans get all of that, but Piccolo has a second style option and a built-in emote that allows him to transform into the power-awakened Piccolo. This is Piccolo’s form before fully transforming into the mighty Orange Piccolo.

It is impossible to determine when the Dragon Ball skins will return to the Item Shop. However, if players look at the dates that the skins have been made available in-game, they will notice that there are some patterns. Dragon Ball skins tend to return to Fortnite in the middle of August and at the start of January, so even though this is purely based on previous stats and cannot be confirmed, if there is a pattern, this is when gamers can expect to see them again.
