A popular Fortnite leaker has claimed to have some additional knowledge about the upcoming rumored collaboration between the battle royale and Overwatch, stating that one of the potential skins will be included in the battle pass for Chapter 7 Season 2. Fortnite is currently in the middle of Chapter 7 Season 1, which has featured major crossovers with franchises like Kill Bill, Back to the Future, South Park, and more.
Blizzard recently revealed numerous changes coming to Overwatch, including a name shift that dropped the “2” from the title. The development team has also committed to unfurling major story arcs over the course of a year, exciting many players who were hoping to see the game’s narrative become a major focus again. Overwatch also showed off five new heroes, giving both new and returning players a reason to hop in and see what these fresh characters have to offer. Since all the announcements, Overwatch‘s player count has increased dramatically, with a lot of players booting up to see all the new content. While the details surrounding the potential collaboration between Fortnite and Overwatch are still unconfirmed, many players seem to believe that this moment could be the perfect time for such a crossover.

Overwatch’s Leaked Collaboration With Fortnite Could Include Four Skins
In a recent post on Twitter, the prominent leaker Blortzen revealed that an Overwatch hero could be making their debut in the battle pass for Chapter 7 Season 2 of Fortnite. Blortzen then went on to say that the iconic hero Tracer will also be coming to the battle royale, but they were unable to comment on whether she will be the character featured in the battle pass. Several other leakers shared similar information, giving a little bit of extra credibility to Blortzen’s claims. Many gamers expressed immediate enthusiasm about the idea of Tracer coming to Fortnite, as she’s arguably one of Overwatch‘s most popular heroes.
The leaker HYPEX made a post claiming that Tracer is just one of four Overwatch skins potentially coming to Fortnite, leading to a lot of speculation about who else might make an appearance. Blortzen then made another post claiming that, in addition to Tracer, the hero D.Va would be coming to the battle royale. As with all leaks, it’s worth taking this information with a grain of salt. While many leaks do eventually come to fruition, details often change and sometimes projects get canceled entirely.
