“Frequent Violence or Gore? Yes, Please!” Helldivers 2 Players Are Ecstatic About the Latest Changelist Update

It’s getting hot in here, must be all the cooking! As the Singularity Party gets closer and closer, the hype is growing more and more. Every little detail or comment made by a dev gets expertly analyzed. So, when Helldivers 2 players noticed the changelist on SteamDB received an update, all hell broke loose. What changed, and how excited should you be?

What Is in the Latest Changelist Update?

First things first! So, when the devs change an app/a package, Steam creates a so-called changelist, so the clients are aware of the changes. These changelists have helped the Helldivers get some cool info before, like just before the Illuminate were added. The devs have been much more careful with the file names lately.

However, on the evening of May 6, something quite impactful was added. Below, the changelist noted: “Added Content Descriptors (Including DLC). Added 0: Frequent Violence or Gore (2). Added 1: General Mature Content (5)”. Also, it’s quite noteworthy that this changelist affected 47389 items!

Helldivers 2 Players Are Hyped for the Update

The update might not be ready yet, but the Helldivers 2 community found these additions to the changelist quite exciting. Naturally, they shared their ideas on what these changes could be.

Klutz-Specter suggested: “Dunno if I have this right, but it seems they made 7 changes, but those changes affected 47,000 items. You might expect a bunch of bug fixes, weapons patches, stratagem changes, and a couple of other tweaks/mission types. Gonna heavy disclaimer this as speculation/hype”.

Obviously, quite a lot can be considered as “Frequent Violence or Gore” and/or “General Mature Content”, so for the time being, enjoy daydreaming! Also, SONY accidentally leaked a trailer that could indicate Helldivers 2 will finally become available on Xbox, but nothing was confirmed yet.
