In Genshin Impact, it’s not often that a free character is also a high-tier character. Fortunately, Xiangling is an exception to that trend. This Pyro Vision holder is available to anyone who clears Chamber 3, Floor 3 of the Spiral Abyss, and she’s a very good fighter to have in combat.
With her friend Guoba and her handy polearm, Xiangling can dominate on the battlefield. In order to make her as powerful as possible, players will need to ascend Xiangling and upgrade her talents, both of which require quite a few items and a ton of Mora
. Here’s everything needed to level up Xiangling, ascend her, and power up her three upgradeable talents.

Gemstones – Where to Find Agnidus Agate
Xiangling is, fittingly, a Pyro character, since she’s a cook who travels alongside the Stove God, who is now Guoba. As a result, she’ll need some of the Pyro elemental stone, Agnidus Agate, to ascend.
Much of the Agnidus Agate players collect will be from bosses, but it can also be earned as a reward for finishing daily commissions, purchased from the souvenir shops in Liyue and Mondstadt, and obtained through some other methods as well.
Here are the bosses that can drop Agnidus Agate:
*Azhdaha and the Primo Geovishap can only drop Agnidus Agate when they’re aligned with Pyro.
Enemy Drop – Where to Find Slime Drops
Slimes are found basically anywhere you look in Teyvat, which is great because a few characters need Slime materials to ascend, including Xiangling.
Like every other common enemy drop, higher-level Slimes will drop higher-level materials.
-
Any level Slime:
Slime Condensate
- Level 40 or higher Slimes: Slime Secretions
- Level 60 or higher Slimes: Slime Concentrate

Boss Drop – How to Get Everflame Seeds
The Pyro Regisvine in Liyue can be found on Cuijue Slope in the Minlin Region. Players hoping to ascend Xiangling will need to take it down a few times. This is because it’s the only source of Everflame Seeds, which are used in Xiangling’s ascension.

Local Specialty – Where to Find Jueyun Chili
This item is typically used as a cooking ingredient, but interestingly, Xiangling uses it as the local specialty in her ascension. This is also fitting, as she’s both a cook and a Pyro character, so a spicy food is perfect.
Jueyun Chilis can be found in a few places. They appear in large numbers around Qingce Village, around Minlin, especially on Jueyun Karst, and near the Stone Gate between Liyue and Mondstadt.
They can also be grown in the Serenitea Pot or purchased from Chef Mao, who is — funny enough — Xiangling’s father. He stocks five of them every three days and charges 1,000 Mora for each one.
