NVIDIA’s 50-series of GPUs are here to stay, and on the lower end, the RTX 5060 is a decent card for 1080p gaming while making use of the love-it-or-hate-it DLSS 4 technologies for higher frame rates.
Now that the drivers are fixed and prices seem to be approaching some sort of normality, we’ve spotted a deal at Walmart that can net you an RTX 5060-powered rig for under $900.
Save $300 on this RTX 5060 PC at Walmart
The model we’ve spotted would normally cost $1,199.99, but Walmart’s Labor Day deals have sliced $300 off ($300.99, to be exact), bringing the cost of this handy starter rig for a budding PC gamer (and RPS reader) down to just $899.
That’s with an RTX 5060 GPU, an Intel Core Ultra 5, 16GB of RAM, a terabyte of SSD storage, and a keyboard and mouse thrown in for good measure.
And yet, that’s not all, since you can claim Battlefield 6 with this PC as it’s a ‘qualifying purchase’ for Intel’s latest promotion. Buy a nice PC now, get a bombastic multiplayer shooter in October, and play Hollow Knight: Silksong in between then – what’s not to like?
Still, if you’re looking for more graphical power and still want a free copy of Battlefield 6, Alienware’s Aurora R16 is currently discounted with almost 20% off, and it has an NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti under the hood. Something to consider, perhaps.
