It’s time for some chaos to hit Marvel Rivals! The devs have previously announced that two new Costumes were dropping on February 28, the first being Magik’s Punkchild. Well, the second one is the Punk Rage Costume for The Hulk and Bruce Banner, and the Marvel Rivals community just got a first look at this cool skin.
Developers Announce the Punk Rage Costume
On February 25, the developers shared the details on Discord. They noted: “Get Your Punk Rage On! “Robert Bruce Banner, you beautiful atom bomb!” Embrace the rage in style as The Hulk’s Punk Rage costume, first appearing in Edge of Spider-Geddon (2018) #1. Available: Friday 28 February 2025 at 03:00 (CET). Don’t let anything tame your might as you seize victory as Punk Rage”.
They also shared a short video showing Bruce drawing graffiti on a wall and transforming. We have to admit, we’re loving the mohawk, the tats, and even the air-guitar emote. Overall, we’d say this is one cool-looking Costume.

The New Hulk Costume Receives Praise From the Marvel Rivals Community
Marvel Rivals players loved the idea of The Hulk being punk. They praised the developers for this interesting design and speculated what could have made it even better. Do you have any ideas?
One player, nocturnalangel, noted: “The only detail I wish they had were the headphones Robbie Banner would put on to turn into the Hulk”. Several other players noted that the transformation wasn’t as seamless as they wanted it to be.
However, the majority of players asked for another change, that would be applied to all Costumes, not just this one. ShinraRatDog suggested: “I think these skins would be so much better if they had new voice lines. Maker and Malice especially feel weird without new voice lines, it’s going to be weird hearing this Bruce Banner talk like a nerd while looking like a Streets of Rage jobber”.
It would be cool to see this idea implemented! However, with the recent addition of The Thing, and now the new Costume for The Hulk, we are mostly looking forward to seeing more tanks in the game. Hopefully, more variety will help with this issue. See you out there, and enjoy the game.
