Ghost of Yotei just launched last month, so most PS5 owners probably weren’t expecting a Black Friday discount on the beautiful new open-world adventure from Sucker Punch Productions. Indeed, the standard edition is not on sale during PlayStation’s holiday promotion, but Ghost of Yotei’s Collector’s Edition and limited-edition PS5 hardware have received surprise price cuts at PlayStation Direct and major retailers.
Most notably, the PS5 Slim Ghost of Yotei Limited Edition Bundles are $100 off, which lowers the price to only $500. PlayStation Direct has an exclusive PS5 Slim with black ink illustrations on the console cover and DualSense. Alternatively, you can get the Ghost of Yotei Gold Limited Edition Bundle at PS Direct as well as Amazon, Walmart, and other major retailers. Both bundles come with a digital copy of Ghost of Yotei ($70 value), which makes these the best Black Friday PS5 console deals in terms of value.
If you already own a PS5, the Ghost of Yotei Gold and Black DualSense are among a handful of limited-edition PS5 controllers featured in PlayStation’s Black Friday sale. Normally priced at $85, the Ghost of Yotei DualSense are up for grabs for only $65. And you can complete the Ghost of Yotei look by picking up the Ghost of Yotei Gold PS5 Slim Console Cover for $50 (was $65) exclusively at PS Direct.

Ghost of Yotei is one of the biggest and best PS5 exclusives of the year. As detailed in our 9/10 review, the standalone sequel to Ghost of Tsushima offers a more well-rounded and engaging experience thanks to improved combat, exploration, and mission design. If you’re new to the series, it’s totally fine to jump straight into Yotei, but you’d miss out on a really great game. Plus, Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut is on sale for only $40 (was $70) during the holiday sale.
One of PlayStation’s other major 2025 exclusives also has a PS Direct-exclusive Collector’s Edition and DualSense Controller in the Black Friday sale.
