We all know that wonderful feeling when we choose weapons and the combination just makes sense. It just feels right and, most importantly, it does the job. However, if we use the same build over and over again, it can, well, lose its spark. There are dozens of cool weapons in the game, so it’s hard to choose just one to bring. Also, we tend to write off some weapons after just glancing at them. Well, CommissarKai, a well-known Helldivers 2 YouTuber, suggested some weapons that were worth a second glance.
A YouTuber Suggests Best Neglected Weapons
CommissarKai is one of our favorite content creators. This Helldiver offers great solutions on how to deal with enemies, as well as fun challenges during content droughts. The OP’s advice has always been solid, in our experience.
In the latest video, CommissarKai suggests which Primary and Support weapons you should try if you still haven’t. Now, we’ll just list CommissarKai’s recommendations, but we strongly advise you to check out the video as well, it’s extremely fun.
This devoted Helldiver suggested the Airburst Launcher, the Punisher Plasma, then an entire “Bug Variety Pack” (includes the Dog Breath, the Railgun, the Breaker shotgun, and Thermite grenades). The OP also suggested testing out all the Liberator variants, you might find something that suits your game style.
CommissarKai also suggested a mix of weapons that would work well against the Squids, nicknamed “Freedom’s Beehive”. This pack contains the WASP launcher, the AT Emplacement, the Rocket sentry (“to keep you company”), and the Orbital 120mm Barrage. Finally, according to the OP, one assault rifle works wonders on all the fronts – the Adjudicator.
Helldivers 2 Players Love Their Weapons
Even though the majority of the weapons that this YouTuber suggested have their fans, they aren’t seen too often in Helldivers 2. So, the players shared which of these weapons they loved and why.
TrueTgirl noted: “Ah, the Adjudicator. What the base breaker is to many, the adjudicator is to me. One of my first loves, and the first weapon I more or less retired as I climbed the ranks and rode the waves of new patches”.
Another player, Brakka86, stated: “I constantly use the PP and Railgun combo on the bot side, surprised it’s not more popular. I have to try the Airburst tho. Looked like a ton of fun”. We have a feeling that the Airburst launcher will become more popular after this video!
