It’s been over a year since I adopted the Logitech G515 Lightspeed TKL as my daily keyboard, and here it is, still parked on my desk, ready and willing for me to bash out some nonsense about Titanfall or whatever. It’s also what I’m using you inform you that you can get one of your very own, for less, as the G515 is currently on sale both inside and out of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event.
Specifically, Amazon UK have the clicky tactile switch version of this sleek wireless ‘board down from £140 to £95, though you’ll need a Prime account to get the full saving. Meanwhile, Amazon US haven’t included the G515 among their Big Deal Day promotions, but seem to be discounting both the tactile and linear models anyway. They’re both down from $160 to $120, and as it happens, Best Buy are matching that price on both switch versions as well.

Obviously, I like this keyboard. It’s not the best that money can buy – it was launched as a more affordable alternative to the G915 TKL, which is a kinder way of saying its build quality isn’t as good – but it still has the lovely low-profile shape, lightweight half-height keycaps, and spry typing action as Logitech’s premium keebs. And the tenkeyless form factor is, to me, the ideal balance between flexibility and compactness, with the whole thing being small enough to pack up and use portably.
