As you play through Heartopia, you’ll end up collecting all kinds of items. Decorative pieces, crafting materials, and resources like Rare Timber start piling up before you even realize it. Before long, your inventory can get really crowded.
You can get extra space to store items with Warehouse Storage, ensuring that your inventory doesn’t remain full and cluttered. If you’re struggling to figure out the Warehouse Storage mechanics, then we’ve got you covered.

Struggling with one-star items in Heartopia? Here’s how to increase your star ratings.
How to Use Warehouse Storage in Heartopia
How Does Warehouse Storage Work?
- Got to your home lot.
- Open your Backpack.
- Under the Backpack icon, you’ll see the Warehouse icon, which you can click.
- This “second inventory” is your Warehouse Storage.
Warehouse Storage is basically extra space where you can keep items you don’t want sitting in your regular inventory. To use it, go to your home lot and open your backpack. Under the backpack icon, you’ll see a warehouse icon. Click on it, and it will open a second inventory. That’s your Warehouse Storage.
If you want to move something there, simply select the item from your inventory and click the Store button at the bottom right of the screen. The item will instantly move into the warehouse.
If you want to move something back to your inventory, open the Warehouse Storage first and select the item you want. This time around, players will see a Carry option at the bottom of the screen. Click it, and the item will move back into your backpack.
Keep in mind that Warehouse Storage only works while you are in your home lot. If you leave your home, you won’t be able to store new items there or take anything out of it until you return.
How to Increase Warehouse Storage in Heartopia
The Warehouse Storage is a lifesaver in Heartopia. It gives you way more space than your regular backpack, so it’s great for storing all those extra materials you don’t want to carry around. By default, the warehouse storage has 350 slots, which is more than enough when you are just starting your Heartopia journey.
If you somehow manage to fill that up too, you can expand it. For that, players will need to go to Ka Ching and talk to her. Open the General Store, then look for the Warehouse Expansion option. Normally, it costs 25 Wishing Stars to unlock more storage, but she sometimes puts it on sale. I was able to buy mine for 10 Wishing Stars during a 60% off sale.
