How to become a painter in BitLife

You can pursue any career path in BitLife you wish, regardless of the industry or qualifications. If you’re looking to complete challenges like Tortured Artist, Renaissance, or Paint it Black, you’ll need to learn more about classic painting jobs sooner rather than later.

How to become a painter in BitLife

There are no formal education or work experience requirements for becoming a painter in BitLife. As long as your character doesn’t have a criminal record and is over 18 years old, they can apply for this job through the full-time listings under Occupation. From here, you’ll need to give an appropriate answer to an interview question to land the job.

The painter job appears with a paint palette emoji and “Small Business” tag next to its name. Since you don’t need any education or work experience, you can apply for this job right after secondary school without worrying about attending university, using the Golden Diploma, or working elsewhere.

If a painter position doesn’t appear right away, age up and recheck the list or close and reopen BitLife. Both methods refresh the list, giving you updated options, including a potential painter role. While you might get unlucky and not spot it after a second search, you can repeat this multiple times until you find the listing you’re looking for.

Typically, you’ll find it closer to the bottom of the full-time job list, alongside positions like writers, exorcists, and photographers, among many others. However, it has potential for massive pay raises, especially if you work in this role for several decades.

There’s a chance you’ll find an apprentice painter job instead. It falls under the same category as its regular variant, making it an acceptable alternative if you’re becoming a painter for a challenge. If you pursue an apprentice role first, you can receive a promotion later, giving you a significant pay raise.

However, you can’t become famous as a painter in BitLife. Despite multiple careers in the game naturally leading to stardom, painting isn’t among the list, so you can’t use it for challenges that require you to become famous. Instead, you’d need to swap career paths or marry someone famous and become a socialite.
