Though Worlds Apart is Dan Heng PT’s signature Light Cone, which automatically makes it DHPT’s best-in-slot Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail. Starting from its passive, the Though Worlds Apart Light Cone greatly increases Dan Heng PT’s ATK by 64% without meeting any requirements. It also adds healing to his kit, allowing him to heal his team based on his ATK%. That’s not all, because Though Worlds Apart can still greatly increase the team’s DMG by up to 36% for 3 turns when Dan Heng uses his Ultimate.

If you don’t want to go for DHPT’s Light Cone, you can build Dan Heng Permansor Terrae with the Journey, Forever Peaceful Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail. The 4-star Light Cone improves the shield Dan Heng grants for his team, in addition to increasing the team’s DMG by up to 20% if they are shielded.

Since the previous options are not F2P-friendly, you can build Dan Heng PT with Landau’s Choice in Honkai: Star Rail. It’s not really a useful Light Cone for Dan Heng, but it protects the team since it makes enemies more likely to attack him. As a shielder and a support in HSR, DHPT can perform well enough even without a Light Cone. So, Landau’s Choice and any other Light Cone should be good enough until you pull for his signature.

The Self-Enshrouded Recluse Relic set improves Dan Heng PT’s shielding ability on top of granting him a decent supportive buff. After that, every shielded unit in DHPT’s party will get a 15% Crit DMG, and it remains as long as Dan Heng’s shield is active.

Since buffing ATK% is one of Dan Heng’s abilities, he’s going to mostly support teams with DPS units that depend on ATK%, like Aglaea in Honkai: Star Rail. Not only that, but the 5% Energy Regeneration Rate really helps Dan Heng PT cast his Ultimate more often. Other ERR Planar Ornament sets, like Penacony, Land of the Dreams, is also good, but is more situational.

You can build DHPT with the Space Sealing Station Planar Ornament Set, as it gives him a good ATK% boost. He can use that extra ATK% to slightly increase the buff he grants his Bondmate.
