How to complete the Lord of the Underworld challenge in BitLife

You may have had BitLife playthroughs where you become royalty and characters who are millionaire drug dealers. Combining these two, however, is surprisingly difficult. This is where the Lord of the Underworld challenge comes in to test whether you can go from the top of the world to the bottom.

BitLife Lord of the Underworld challenge guide

BitLife’s Lord of the Underworld challenge has five tasks to complete:

  • Become a King
  • Abdicate the throne
  • Join a cartel
  • Sell $50,000+ worth of product
  • Become a Kingpin

Completing this challenge requires purchasing the Dealer job pack. Without this pack, you won’t have access to cartels or the Kingpin rank, preventing you from finishing the last three tasks of this challenge.

Becoming a King and abdicating the throne

The first task of BitLife’s Lord of the Underworld challenge is to become a King. Doing this requires creating a male character born in any country with royalty. Below are some suggestions to start with:

  • Belgium
  • Denmark
  • Monaco
  • Morocco
  • Netherlands
  • Norway
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • UK

Generally speaking, being born in a European country gives you the best odds of having a royal character. Since this challenge requires becoming a king, you’ll need to make a male character who’s born a prince—no other rank works for this.

While the Celebrity Dating App works to turn a commoner into a royal, it won’t let you turn into a king. You’ll have to resort to luck for this one or use God Mode if you have it.

Once you create a character born as a prince, wait for your character’s father to pass away or eliminate him to ascend in rank and become a king. From here, you can head into Activities, Royalty, and Abdicate to knock out the first two tasks.

Join a cartel

Now that you’re no longer a royal, it’s time to join a drug cartel. You can do this by heading into Occupation, Special Careers, and Dealer. Unless you committed many crimes during your royal life, you’ll want to start with a low-infamy cartel and work your way up. In most cases, a low-infamy group will accept you without many issues.

Selling products

Once you join a cartel, you’ll start as a dealer who goes around selling products to customers. You’ll find Turf near the top of your dealer menu, where you can see a list of potential buyers. Head through the list and make some money until you reach at least $50,000 sold. It may take a few years to get here, but rising up the ranks and gaining access to manufacturing will help.

Becoming a kingpin

Your ultimate goal during BitLife’s Lord of the Underworld challenge is to become a Kingpin. There are five ranks to climb through:

  • Dealer
  • Runner
  • Manufacturer
  • Lieutenant
  • Kingpin/Queenpin

As you succeed in selling products to customers, you’ll rank up to Runner and unlock supply runs. These let you make extra money by delivering products to specific areas, ensuring their packaging isn’t damaged and that you have a quiet location to drop them off. Succeeding in these will eventually rank you up to manufacturing, letting you cook up your own substances that can rake in a ton of profit. Your goal is to get around $100,000 in total profits for your next promotion.

Fortunately, reaching Lieutenant makes things easy. You’ll now need to befriend everyone in your cartel and convince them to overthrow your current Kingpin or Queenpin. Doing this will rank you up to Kingpin, knocking out BitLife’s Lord of the Underworld challenge and rewarding you with a cosmetic prize.
