How to find Mutt in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Having man’s best friend by your side in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has several advantages, and you can find Henry’s trusted companion Mutt pretty early.

In fact, you start looking for the dog as soon as you gain access to the open world. Mutt will be separated after being attacked at the camp, so the onus is on you to find him. You can fast-track this process by going to the spot where Mutt hides post the attack and it will allow you to add him to your party quicker.

To find Mutt, you’ll have to travel to the northwest part of Semine, and the spot is close to the river. Just take he road from Semine, and you’ll reach a point from where the road takes you to the forest. Mutt is actually near a wolf cave, and you can find in southwest of the Nomad’s Camp. Hence, you can also quick travel to Nomad’s Camp and start your journey from there. Either way, the key is to head into the forest.

Once you approach the cave, you’ll find Mutt whining, and being surrounded by a wolves. You’ll have to save him from the wolves, and this quest also serves as the tutorial towards how you can command your dog to perform certain actions. You can choose to flee, but the wolves are pretty easy to dispose off, and you’ll gain XP in the process of doing so.

Just press your your L1/LB button to look for Mutt, and you’ll get to interact with him, feed him, or send him to your home.

You can also find Mutt while completing the Invaders side quest. This quest allows you to interact with the Cumans, and Henry will follow Vasko’s trail up the hill. If you keep following the quest objective, you’ll be led directly to the cave. You’ll again come across the same cutscene and set of actions, but the fight will be harder as it will be night and Henry will be drunk. Hence, the first method is the recommended route you should take in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
