The many lives in Fantasy Life i require different tools for you to yield, but you’ll have to obtain them before learning their uses.
Called Life Tools, these items are perhaps the most important goods to get. The objective should be to get them as early as possible, but you’ll have to clear a fair bit of content first. The tools can be obtained quite early, though, as long as you know the correct steps.
Here’s a list of all the essential life tools you can obtain in Fantasy Life i.
- Pickaxes
- Axes
- Fishing Rods
- Frying Pans
- Hammers
- Saws
- Needles
- Flasks
The following section has information about how you can obtain all of them.
The exact process could vary a bit based on which starter life you picked. To keep matters simple, we will assume that you’ve picked a life that’s not among the names in the following table. Let’s suppose that you have picked Mercenary like I did, which also means that you’ll have to get all the tools separately.
Tool | How to Use |
---|---|
Pickaxe | You’ll get the Bronze Pickaxe by starting the Miner life and finishing the tutorial. |
Axe | You’ll get the Oak Axe after starting the Woodcutter life and finishing tutorial |
Fishing Rods | You can get the Oak Rod by starting the Angler life and finishing tutorial |
Frying Pans | You can get the Bronze Frying Pan by starting the Cook life and finishing the tutorial |
Hammers | You can get the Bronze Hammer by starting the Blacksmith life and finishing the tutorial |
Saws | You can get the Bronze Saw by starting the Carpenter life and finishing the tutorial |
Needles | You can get the Bronze Needle by starting the Tailor life and finishing the tutorial |
Flasks | You can get the Science Flash by starting the Alchemist life and finishing the tutorial |
There’s another way to obtain these life tools, and you can spend your Dosh to get them from the General Goods store. However, you shouldn’t do that, since starting a life is required to use the tools. In simpler words, you can’t use an axe if you haven’t started the Woodcutter life. Additionally, you won’t have to pay any Dosh for these tools if you’re just starting a new life.
On one hand, you learn to know how to use them, and you also get the tools for free on the other. It’s a win-win situation, and you can always upgrade these items with the help of required recipes and resources.
