There is more than one way to change the way Strikers work in Mecha Break, and you can do so with the help of mods.

If you’re unhappy with how your mechs work, you can change that with the help of different stat modifiers. These modifiers are altered depending on the mods that you use, and there are plenty of options available at launch.

How to use mods in Mecha Break?

Let’s first look at how to use mods in Mecha Break. From the Operation Storm menu, go to the Mods tab. This will show you a list of all available mods applicable to your chosen Striker. You can then apply and make any necessary changes. Once you use a mod, you can check the adjusted in-game stats on the right-hand side of your screen.

You can equip up to three mods for each body part of your mech. Mods come in five different types: Corixium Cascade Engine, Carbotanium Skeleton, Propulsion System, Corixium Muscle, and Mindbridge Cockpit. Every mod raises the value of specific stats and nerfs another. Hence, you’ll need to find the sweet spot to ensure that your mech performs as per expectations.

While mods have four different rarities, don’t sleep on the Fine and Superb variants. The effects of all mods are restricted to the Mashmak mode.

How to get mods in Mecha Break

  • Operation Storm is a reliable way to obtain mods. This is the extraction mode of Mecha Break. You’ll sometimes come across enemies who drop Mod Boxes when you defeat them. You can also find other items like Paint Dyes, which can be used to customize your Striker. Make sure to escape in time to retain your rewards.
  • You can get high-tier mods by using low-tier mods. The game offers a mod Assembly System that allows you to convert the low-tier mods into better tiers. The mods consumed in this process won’t be available in your inventory.
