How to get Bismuth in Crimson Desert

How to get Bismuth in Crimson Desert

Bismuth is one of those few resources in Crimson Desert that isn’t very easy to get, and you’ll need to look at specific locations. When you’re around the material, you’ll be able to identify it from its signature silver base and shimmer. Thanks to their mystical power, you can’t mine Bismuth with ordinary tools.

This guide will help you to find Bismuth and then mine it as much as required.

How to mine Bismuth in Crimson Desert

While most of the mining in Crimson Desert is done with the pickaxe, it won’t work in the normal fashion. You’ll first need to use Lightning Surge to break the magic barrier that surrounds Bismuth deposits. You won’t be able to mine Bismuth as long as the barrier is active.

If you already have the skill, then half the job is already done. If you don’t have it, you’ll need to raise your Lightning Level to 1. Once you’ve unlocked the skill, head to a location where you can find Bismuth (more on that later). Press RT+B/RB+Circle to generate an electric field. Release it to bring down the barrier. To mine Bismuth, you need to hit the spot where the electric field hits.

There are several locations in Crimson Desert, but the best one can be found near the Scholastone Institute. Go southwest from Hernand City, and you’ll find the Institute on the map. The ore is found along the mountain cliffs near a waterfall.

As an alternative, you can also look to find Bismuth in the peaks of Everfrost. Usually, you’ll find plenty of Bismuth Ore in the locations mentioned above. Hence, make sure to have enough space in your inventory so that you can carry as much ore as required.
