The Chillfallen Sword in Crimson Desert is a beautiful one-handed weapon that can greatly enhance your arsenal.
There are many special weapons in the game, but obtaining some, like the Soul Spear, involves facing powerful enemies. The Chillfallen Sword falls into a different category. It’s a strong weapon that you can simply grab from the ground. However, the real challenge is reaching where it was left by its former owner.
To help you obtain this weapon, we put together this guide explaining how to get the Chillfallen Sword in Crimson Desert.
How to get the Chillfallen Sword in Crimson Desert
The Chillfallen Sword is located in the Snowhaven Hearth, which is in the Argent Peaks near First-Finger Lake. To get there, you’ll need to head west of Pailune and northwest of the Wayward Woods Witch’s Hidehout until you reach the village of Skoghorn.
From the abyss nexus in the village, cross the river and follow the road until it forks. Take the right and use the narrow corridor between the rocks, which eventually opens into a large camp with swords planted on the ground. The area resembles an abandoned battlefield and the sword is found on the west side, resting beside a skeleton sitting along the stone wall.
Although the whole situation looks like a trap, as if a boss will appear as soon as you try to grab the sword, don’t worry. Obtaining the Chillfallen Sword is really only a matter of reaching the location and collecting it, with no prerequisites.
The Chillfallen Sword is a one-handed weapon with three abyss gear slots. Its stats are 17 attack, attack speed level 2, and refinement tier 3. Compared to other special one-handed swords like the Tauria Curved Sword, the Chillfallen is faster, making it great for dual-wielding. What makes this sword unique is the Beastbane I abyss gear it comes with. This item increases the damage dealt to beasts by 4%. The sword also features a Swift I (increases Attack Speed) and a Destruction I (increases Attack by 1) abyss gears.
