After starting Act 2 in Silksong, players will soon make their way to the top of the Choral Chambers and interact with three ancient statues. These statues task Hornet to collect three parts to the Threefold Melody, a holy song used to ascend to the peak of the Citadel as part of the Ascend Pharloom’s Crest quest in Silksong.
After your main objective is updated, all three Threefold Melody locations in Silksong will appear on your map, but there is little indication of where to go or what to do to unlock all parts of the Threefold Melody. This guide displays routes players must take to find all Threefold Melody songs and briefly explains how to get every part of the Threefold Melody in Silksong.
How to Start the Pharloom’s Crest Quest
To start Pharloom’s Crest, Silksong players must defeat the Cogwork Dancers at the top of the Choral Chambers within the Citadel.
Upon defeat, the background of the room will rotate and reveal three ancient statues, which task Hornet with recovering and playing the three pieces to the Threefold Melody from within the Citadel. Silksong players must complete this task to proceed to the final boss fight and, afterward, unlock Act 3.
How to Get the Architect’s Melody in Silksong
Search the mechanized core of the Citadel for the melody of the Architects.
The Architect’s melody can be found in the highest reaches of the Cogwork Core sub-area, though you will have to go below before you can travel above.
Head below the Cogwork Dancers boss room, then carefully navigate your way to the right side of the entrance drop. Enter the room here, then use your Clawline and other movement skills to make your way to the top of this interior room.
Find the exit and you will find yourself in the top half of the Cogwork Core. Once again, use all of your movement skills, downward slashes, and Clawline to successfully make it to the far top-left of this room.
Solve the music puzzle in the top of the Cogwork Core, then play the Needolin after the statues appear, to earn the Architect’s Melody.

Where to Get the Conductor’s Melody in Silksong
Search the gilded heights of the Citadel for the melody of the Conductors.
The Conductor’s Melody can be found in the High Halls, an area that can only be accessed by using the Clawline on a hook located above the bench in the far top-left of the Choral Chambers.
Continuing to use your Clawline, continue traveling to the top-right until you enter a room with a lot of spikes. Carefully make your way to the bottom level of this tall room by using your Drifter’s Cloak and Clawline in tandem.
Go to the right when you drop into the room below to find a bench. Then, go left to find a shortcut back to the Choral Chambers, then continue to the left.
You will enter an incredibly difficult gauntlet challenge room containing ten waves of enemies. Two waves feature minibosses, with the final wave pitting Hornet against two at once, so be sure to prepare ahead of time with useful Tools and upgrade your Needle damage.
After clearing all waves, continue to the left and speak to Conductor Ballador, who will teach Hornet the Conductor’s Melody.

Where to Get the Vaultkeeper’s Melody in Silksong
Search the cloistered wing of the Citadel for the melody of the Vaultkeepers.
The Vaultkeeper’s melody requires a few things from players. For one, players must make their way through much of the Whispering Vaults to defeat Trobbio and unlock the way to the Vaultkeeper’s Melody location through the Underworks. For another, they must locate Vaultkeeper Cardinius, who is the only bug that can play the Vaultkeeper’s cylinder for Hornet to learn.
Find your way to Trobbio, defeat the boss, then take the exit to the bottom-right of The Stage. Drop down into The Underworks, then make your way to the top-right, using your Clawline and other skills to continue ascending.
Eventually, you will re-enter the Whispering Vaults and find a bench. Go to the left of the bench to find a Sacred Cylinder.
After picking it up, return to Vaultkeeper Cardinius to play the Sacred Cylinder on his record player. Play the Needolin alongside, and Hornet will learn the Vaultkeeper’s Melody.
