Bigger the party, bigger the fun.
Indie sensation LORT is creating quite an impression among fans, and it’s a perfect title to play with your buddy.
While LORT can be perfectly played on your own, you can choose to play with others in co-op. As of writing, there’s no power scaling; if you play with more people, you’ll have an obvious advantage. Let’s quickly look at how you can play with other players.
How to play LORT with your friends
There are two ways to play with your buddies. To make things easier, add them to your Steam friendlist. Once done, load it into the game.
You can interact with the portal that allows you to invite your Steam friends. Once you send an invite, they simply need to accept. They will then be added to your lobby, and all of you’ll be able to play together. You can also invite your friends from the pause menu during a round.

Alternatively, you can also join using the lobby code from the main menu. It lets you invite people who aren’t on your Steam friend list.
How many players can play together in LORT
As of writing, up to eight players can play together in the same lobby. Of course, it’s not necessary to play with eight. However, having more players will give you a massive advantage and allow you to solve the quests more quickly. A full party also dramatically raises your chances of success, which might be vital towards getting a longer run.
Is there any matchmaking in LORT
Unfortunately, there’s no form of matchmaking currently available in LORT at the time of writing. That could change in the future with an update. However, you can only play with your friends in the current build, or by joining with a code.
