How to play co-op with your friends in Super Battle Golf

Super Battle Golf is a cute little title to try out with your buddies, and there can be some intense PvP action as all of you try to hole the same ball.

Incidentally, the game has a pretty strong co-op system. While you can’t play alone, you can participate with your buddies or with other players. Let’s look at how you can create a match with your buddies first.

How to invite your friends to Super Battle Golf

To invite your friends, you’ll first need to add them on Steam. Once they’re added to your Steam friend list, you can then add them to play with you in the same lobby. For that, press Start from the main menu. This puts you on the golf course, but doesn’t start an actual match.

Press the ESC button, and you’ll find the option to Invite. Select the friend(s) you want to invite. Once done, they will have to accept your request. Upon doing so, they will become part of the same lobby. Now, you can proceed to start a fresh round of Super Battle Golf that you’ll play with your buddies.

However, you can also create lobbies for strangers, which is practically the game’s matchmaking system. Similarly, you can also join lobbies created by other players.

How to join lobbies in Super Battle Golf

From the main menu, choose Join. This will open the lobby window as shown in the image below. You can now pick a lobby created by another player to join. You can also spectate the fun if you want. Moreover, there are different filers you can use.

For starters, always join a lobby with less than 100 ping, as that’s an important factor to consider. Moreover, you can also join a lobby from this section that was exclusively created by your friends. There’s also an option to hide a lobby that’s already full. Overall, it’s a neat way to matchmake and play with others if you don’t have a friend to play Super Battle Golf with.
