In Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Grands Prix are offline collections of four races, where drivers earn points in each race. The base game includes 8 Grands Prix, each featuring 3 unique tracks, with the final race taking a lap from each previous track and rewarding more points for the winner.
When players start their journey, however, 2 Grands Prix are locked, and it’s not at first clear how to unlock all the Grands Prix in Sonic CrossWorlds. There are also Crossover Grands Prix arriving in the future in the form of DLC, with these being free for owners of the Digital Deluxe edition. The first of these, featuring Minecraft and SpongeBob SquarePants courses, will release in October of 2025.
How To Unlock The Egg Grand Prix In Sonic CrossWorlds
The Egg Grand Prix is the seventh, and to unlock it, players must win all the previous six Grand Prix.
Players can win these Grands Prix on any difficulty, including the easiest. The difficulties can be mixed and matched, so feel free to win the first few Grands Prix on easiest difficulty before cranking things up a notch if the races aren’t competitive enough.
If you do badly in a single race and ruin your chances of winning the Grand Prix, consider spending a few Donpa Tickets to try again, as this is faster than redoing a full Grand Prix.

How To Unlock The Secret Grand Prix In Sonic CrossWorlds
The Secret Grand Prix isn’t hidden as its name implies. Instead, it is simply locked at the start of the game.
To unlock the Secret Grand Prix, you simply need to win the Egg Grand Prix after unlocking it by winning the previous 6. This can be done on any difficulty. Remember to use the best Gadgets in Sonic CrossWorlds to help you win more races.
Your randomly designated rival will likely be the biggest threat for 1st. Consider focusing on them with attack items.

Players who like a challenge will also want to unlock the hardest difficulties in Sonic CrossWorlds. For anything harder, players will have to search for skilled competitors in online races.

How To Unlock Super Sonic Speed Difficulty
- Win the 7 Grand Prix (excluding Secret and CrossWorld Grand Prix) at Sonic Speed.
This is the only time difficulty matters when unlocking something.
How To Unlock Mirror Sonic Speed Difficulty
- Win all 7 Grand Prix (excluding Secret and CrossWorld Grand Prix) to unlock.
Mirror Sonic Speed flips the tracks around. If a corner usually goes left, it will instead go right in this mode.
