Arcane Lineage just might have my favorite race system, at least when it comes to Roblox RPG experiences. While like most titles I tried in the last year, it’s mostly based on luck, there are some races you can legitimately earn and have fun while doing so. Having that in mind, let’s unfurl this guide on how to unlock all races in Arcane Lineage, shall we?
Do You Need to Unlock Every Race in Arcane Lineage?
Fortunately, no. In total, there are 14 races in Arcane Lineage.
10 of them are accessible only through rerolling. Mind you, you can only reroll if you purchase a Gamepass, in which case a reroll costs 125 Robux.
Don’t despair, though—in Arcane Lineage, you can reroll your character’s race without spending Robux by using a Lineage Shard. This item can be obtained through gameplay by defeating bosses like Yar’Thul, who has a chance to drop it upon defeat. Make sure you grab one of the available Arcane Lineage codes to make the grind easier.
Alternatively, you can purchase a Lineage Shard from the Mysterious Merchant for 3,600 to 4,400 gold in normal mode. Please note that using a Lineage Shard requires your character to be at least level 20.

You won’t have to break a sweat to unlock these races, but you’ll have to spend A LOT of gold, Robux or hours grinding bosses. Regardless, here’s how to unlock all rerollable races in Arcane Lineage and what they have to offer:

How to Unlock Obtainable Races in Arcane Lineage
What sets this set of races apart is that, like we said, you don’t need Robux to try them out. All it takes is a bit of grinding and efficient questing. Hence, let’s take a look at how to unlock all races in Arcane Lineage that aren’t a product of rerolls:
All Lentum Abilities in Arcane Lineage
The hardest Arcane Lineage race to unlock, this lovable Slime pays off with its defensive cooldown and overall durability.

Actives
Bane (Lvl 20): Snaps your fingers, creating a poison explosion that applies poison to the target and adjacent foes.
- Cost: 1
- Cooldown: 7
- Base Damage: 7
Mucilage (Lvl 40): Coats a target ally or yourself in slime, forming a barrier that reduces incoming damage for 3 turns. Effectiveness varies based on attack type but will always reduce damage to at least 1. Visuals change based on soul color.
- Cost: 3
- Cooldown: 12
- Duration: 3T
Passives
- Slimy Shield (Lvl 30): Blocking a physical attack blinds and weakens the attacker.
- ??? (Lvl 1): Grants passive regeneration, restoring 2 HP per turn. Scales with incoming healing.
- ??? (Lvl 1): Allows interaction with slime statues and the Slime King without needing a Gelat Ring.
- ??? (Lvl 1): Provides 20-45% resistance to poison-based attacks (not damage over time effects). Needs further testing.
How to Unlock Lentum in Arcane Lineage
Like I said, you’ll have quite the journey until you can actually roll a Lentum. The process is a bit convoluted and grindy, involving the following:
- Step 1: Equip a Gelat Ring. Removing it before finishing Step 7 may reset progress.
- Step 2: Talk to the Slime King Statue. If he doesn’t give the quest to speak with four slime statues, try resetting, re-equipping the ring, or using a private server. If none work, a wipe may be needed.

- Step 3: Speak to the four slime statues. If they say “No yahaha,” you didn’t receive the correct quest—repeat Step 2.

- Step 4: Return to the Slime King Statue after getting the correct dialogue. He will now request Slime Chunks.
- Step 5: Give the Slime King 100 Slime Chunks. If he doesn’t mention “fallen subjects,” try giving them in 25-chunk intervals.
- Step 6: After mentioning “fallen subjects,” the Slime King boss will spawn. You must solo the boss (though some have reportedly completed it in a party if they landed the final hit).
- Step 7: Return to the Slime King Statue. If you don’t see the option to wipe, he may request more Slime Chunks, requiring another Slime King kill (server hopping may help find one).
- Step 8: Lentum acquired.
All Amorus Abilities in Arcane Lineage
This just might be my favorite race, due to how fun using Sinister Gaze can be. You never know which debuffs you might pick once you cast it.

Actives
Sinister Gaze (Lvl 5): Stares at the enemy with a cursed eye, dealing damage and copying their buffs while sharing debuffs.
- Cost: 2
- Cooldown: 13
- Type: Hex
- Damage: 2.2
- Scaling: STR/ARC
- Effect: Inflicts the enemy with your debuffs while gaining their buffs
Undulating Hex (Lvl 35): Releases a massive burst of hex energy, forming a large blade that strikes the foe.
- Cost: 4
- Cooldown: 9
- Type: Hex
- Damage: 15
- Scaling: STR/ARC
- Effect: Applies 1 stack of hex to the target
Passives
- Unnamed Passive (Lvl 1): Innate weakness to Holy and Nature damage.
- Stun Immunity (Lvl 1): Grants full immunity to the Stun status effect.
- Hexed Blood (Lvl 15): Grants full immunity to the Hexed status effect
How to Unlock Amorus in Arcane Lineage
Fetch quests should be against the Geneva Convention, especially when they’re taken to an extreme like Arcane Lineage devs did here. Nevertheless, the Amorus is absolutely worth it.

- Step 1: Reach Level 35+.
- Step 2: Talk to Thanasius and offer him the following items: Phoenix Tear, Lineage Shard, Memory Fragment, Soul Dust, Narthana’s Sigil, Darksigil, Reality Watch, Stellian Core, Shifting Hourglass, Expedite Anklet, Chaos Orb, Metrom’s Amulet, Void Key.
- Step 3: Amorus acquired.
All Sheea Abilities in Arcane Lineage
Despite being Angelic, Sheeas are known for vanquishing foes with heavenly fury. Class fantasy-wise, this has to be my favorite race. Best of all, when learning how to unlock all races in Arcane Lineage, this is by far the easiest one.

Actives
Skyward Bolt (Lvl 1): Condenses light into a bolt of shocking energy with a chance to blind.
- Cost: 2
- Cooldown: 6
- Type: Holy
His Incandescence (Lvl ?): Cleanses the target’s debuffs and grants a small to moderate buff to their highest stat.
- Cost: 3
- Cooldown: 8
- Type: Holy
Passives
- Raphion’s Grace (Lvl 1): This race has an extra life, starting with 4 lives instead of 3. This is great for when you’re looking to reach Arcane Lineage class trainer locations, especially if you’re rolling a Wizard or Slayer.
- Cooldown Reduction (Lvl ?): All moves have -1 cooldown.
How to Unlock Sheea in Arcane Lineage

As I said, it’s straightforward. You’re going to need to defeat Seraphon. To start the encounter, head to the Church of Raphion, where the boss is waiting for you with a, coincidentally, Sheea Paladin. Keep in mind that this is an INSANELY long fight, sometimes lasting as much as 20-30 minutes.
The mechanics involve several DOTs and a combo of debuffs that can become problematic really fast. Dispatch the Paladin first before even thinking of striking Seraphon.
All Inferion Abilities in Arcane Lineage

Actives
Inferno Rift: Condenses fire into your leg, then kicks the ground, sending a wave of flames forward that also hits adjacent enemies.
- Cost: 3
- Cooldown: 9
- Type: Fire
- Scaling: STR/ARC
- Effect: Applies 3 Burning to yourself and 2 Sundered to enemies hit
Demonic Rage (Lvl 15): Can be used while knocked in battle to resurrect with half HP, but causes 5% HP loss per turn afterward. Can only be used once every 5 fights.
Passives
- Demonic Presence: Every 5 turns in battle, gain a stacking 5% damage buff, 5% damage resistance buff, and 1 HP regeneration.
How to Unlock Inferion in Arcane Lineage

Step 1: Reach Level 10+.
Step 2: Locate the Cult of Thanasius, found in The Temple of Norn, which is accessed through a mirror within the Deeproot Depths.
Step 3: Find the entrance inside a cave in the Deeproot Canopy.
Step 4: Defeat the Elementalist miniboss guarding the path. You can fight solo or with a party, but you must land the final hit to gain entry.
Step 5: Enter the mirror and progress through the Cult of Thanasius.
Step 6: Unlock Arkhaia after reaching rank 20 in the Cult, and defeat it. I’d advise you to pay attention to the nasty DOT, requiring a tankier comp, ideally with at least two Warriors/Paladins.
That should be it when it comes to our guide on how to unlock all races in Arcane Lineage. Not much has changed since before Light and Dark, for better or for worse. Once you’ve unlocked your favorite race, make use of our Arcane Lineage class tier list, including Base Classes, Sub Classes and Super Classes.
