The Hunter’s March bench in Hollow Knight: Silksong is just like the rest of Hunter’s March — full of traps.
After you’ve passed all of the spikes and obstacles in Hunter’s Rest, you finally reach a bench where you can regenerate your health and create a new save point. However, this bench is actually jury-rigged with a trap that will make you redo the entire climb, if you’re low on health. You may think that this bench is a phony, but it is actually a bench! You just need to complete a couple extra steps to rest on it.
Here’s how to unlock the Hunter’s March bench in Hollow Knight: Silksong and remove the trap above it.
How to unlock the Hunter’s March bench in Silksong
The Hunter’s March bench is located near the top of Hunter’s March. You can go the hard route by pogo-jumping your way to the top or go the easy route by exploring other areas until you find the Drifter’s Cloak.
Don’t sit on the bench immediately, or else you’ll activate the trap — an axe that swings out of nowhere and removes two health masks. Instead, swing your needle towards the left wall and walk into the opening to find a lever on the ceiling. Hit the lever to deactivate the trap, and now you can safely return to the bench.
Feel free to sit on the bench without the fear of a giant axe swinging down and ruining your day.
