HP has announced new gaming hardware and AI-powered features under its Omen and HyperX brands at the annual Amplify Conference 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee. The company introduced the Omen 16 Slim gaming laptop, a refreshed Omen Transcend 14, and the HyperX Cloud III S wireless gaming headset.
Omen AI
When it comes to AI, HP has introduced Omen AI, which is a one-click optimisation tool that recommends the best system, hardware, and gaming settings for each device and game. Omen AI is integrated into Omen Gaming Hub, which will aim to eliminate the need to manually tweak hardware.
New Omen Gaming Laptops
The Omen 16 Slim gaming laptop is a thin and portable device which features up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU.
HP has also refreshed the Omen Transcend 14 gaming laptop, claiming to bring a 25% power boost in the compact form factor. Like the Omen 16 Slim, it also packs an Intel Core Ultra 9 285 H processor and RTX 5070 GPU.
HyperX Cloud III S Wireless Gaming Headset
HP’s HyperX brand also introduced the Cloud III S wireless headset, which delivers immersive audio and extended battery life. HP claims that the headset offers up to 120 hours of battery life in 2.4GHz mode and up to 200 hours in Bluetooth mode. It also has customisable earcup plates, flexible microphone options, and HyperX-tuned acoustics for comfort and sound quality for long gaming sessions.
