Another rebalance is coming to The First Descendant on July 3, and the players are holding their collective breaths.
Even though it is a PvE game, some characters in TFD perform way better than the rest, and that is causing some trouble in the community. The players are wondering what the point of some characters is when they are outshone by those at the top. To fix this, Nexon released the first character rebalance in April, where they nerfed Ines, even after stating that no character in TFD would ever be nerfed, claiming it was for the long-term good of the game. This caused quite a bit of ruckus, especially with Ines mains. And now, the second rebalance is around the corner. But seeing how to last one went, the players are a bit cautious.
Hold on Tight, A Descendant Rebalance Is Coming to The First Descendant On July 3
The first anniversary of TFD is practically here, and Nexon promised a bunch of changes and improvements. The hotfix is scheduled to be released on July 3, and we even got an official announcement:

Nexon stays true to their tradition of being as vague as possible when it comes to these announcements, but by now we all know that the second summer is coming to Albion, meaning that we’ll get the exciting Infinity Pool, as well as another batch of swimsuits for all Descendants. But the most controversial change here is the Descendant Rebalance.
The last time it happened, it caused some waves in the community. The devs chose not to nerf Serena, as she was still new at that moment. However, Ines suffered some considerable nerfs, to the dismay of many a player. But, even after the rebalance, a lot of Descendants were still a bit lacking, and Nexon promised to buff them, to make them a more viable choice.
As it stands, Serena, Ines, and Freyna are dominating the scene, so this rebalance will try to bring the rest of the Descendants more in line with them. While we don’t know the exact details, we do know that the devs plan to improve Bunny’s speed, to make her the fastest character once more, as is fitting. As for the rest, the community expects to see buffs to a lot of male Descendants, as well as some improvements for Valby, Hailey, and Serena.
The hotfix is right around the corner, so we will surely get some explanations, most likely at the upcoming devlive that is about to start pretty soon.
