inZOI Also Coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox

InZOI is the most wishlisted game on Steam right now. Since the Early Access will only be released for the PC, console users are wondering if they will also be able to play it in the near future. Thankfully, the devs confirmed that inZOI is also coming to consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox, at a later date.

Scheduled to be released on March 28, inZOI is the latest talk of the town. Called “Sims with extra steps” by some gamers, InZOI will be much more than that. It is a complete life simulation, made by Krafton, where you manage virtual people called ZOIs. So the focus is more on the ZOIs and their behaviours than on simply making cool houses, and that is overly simplifying the game. For now, inZOI (its Early Access, to be specific) is only available to PC users, but what about consoles?

inZOI Coming To Consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox) At a Later Date

While the Early Access for inZOI is PC-only, the devs revealed that a console port is planned. On InZOI’s Discord server, in the official FAQ channel, the devs had this to say:

Q: What platforms will the game be on and where can I download/play?
A: InZOI will only be available on PC (Steam) and is later expected to be released on consoles like PS5 and Xbox. Any other website/entity promising access to the game outside of these mediums should not be trusted.

We can assume that the Xbox console in question is Xbox Series S and X, but we will still wait for the official confirmation. Unfortunately, the devs didn’t offer any additional info other than “later expected to be released,” so we can’t even speculate on when the console port will happen.

Is It At Least on the Steam Deck?

Steam Deck users rejoice as InZOI will be playable on Steam Deck. However, it is not officially optimized…yet. On that note, the devs said:

Q: Is inZOI compatible with Steam Deck?
A: Yes, but it has not been officially optimized with Valve. The game runs fine, but you may need to adjust settings.

Maybe, down the line, it does get optimized for the Deck, making it run even better. In any case, it looks like InZOI will truly be groundbreaking.
