If you got up early on March 9 and started spreading Managed Democracy, you might have noticed something strange. No matter how hard the players fought or how many were present on a planet, they didn’t make any progress. Thankfully, neither did the enemy forces. The war is at a stalemate. Well, Helldivers 2 devs addressed the issue, and apparently, there’s no progress made with the Galactic War because of an error.
An Error Halts any Progress in the Galactic War
As you know, the current Major Order is quite crucial. It gives Helldivers another opportunity to save Moradesh, as they had previously failed to do so. The High Command wants to block the Meridian Singularity. It’s now up to players to secure enough metal scraps and E-710 for this enormous project.
Unfortunately, the players haven’t made any progress for several hours now. Baskinator, the Community Manager, took to Discord and gave some insight into what was going on.
She noted: “We are aware of a backend error affecting Galactic War contribution. We are investigating! We will inform players here as soon as we have more info available on the situation! Thank you for your patience”.

At the time of writing this article, there hasn’t been any update on this issue, or how long it would take for the devs to fix it. However, it reminded the players of a similar issue that happened not too long ago, when there was a “temporary truce” with the enemies. Later on, the devs claimed the Illuminate used mind control on all Helldivers.
Even If the Error Gets Fixed, the Helldivers Probably Haven’t Made Enough Progress to Win the MO
So, once the devs fix this error, and the Helldivers 2 players are once again able to make some progress, will they be able to complete the Major Order? Unfortunately, things aren’t looking too well. It seems that, even though they tried, Helldivers won’t be able to save Moradesh.
Careless-Sense-82 noted: “Currently MO and war is on pause due to yet another issue AH found. But assuming it resumes, we are cooked regardless because we are little below 20% of the way to the automaton kill goal with only 1/2 the time left. Math just aint mathing. We can’t even count on bugdivers switching to fill the goal cause they aren’t estimated to complete theirs until near MO completion, and like half a day of them swapping ain’t gonna get 500m~ Automatons”.
Now, we’re sure the devs wouldn’t let the MO fail because of an in-game error, and it’s currently on pause. So, the only thing we can advise you is to stay vigilant. The MO will continue, and we all better be ready to jump in and spread Managed Democracy. For Liberty and Super Earth.
