I’ve grabbed some great indies in Fanatical’s 2025 “Build Your Own” Easter Steam bundle sale

Fanatical’s Build Your Own Easter Bundle deal is live, and it’s one of those “I can quit anytime I want” type of situations. You pick your own lineup from a pool of 17 indies, and the more you grab, the cheaper each game gets. Start with three for £1.65 / $1.65 a piece, but I’d go for seven or more to drop it to £1.45 / $1.45 per game. It’s almost rude how cheap that is.

These are full Steam keys, not coupon codes or mystery bundles. You get the games you want, instantly, without rolling dice or sacrificing your dignity to a loot box. This is the sort of deal that wrecks my backlog in the best way. I’ve already filled my basket like a gremlin at a Steam sale, so let me talk you through the ones I think are absolutely worth grabbing.

Bundle Size UK Price Per Game US Price Per Game Notes
3+ Games £1.65 $1.65 Minimum to unlock bundle pricing
5+ Games £1.60 $1.60 Better value per title
7+ Games £1.45 $1.45 Best value

Rocket Rats is ridiculous and that’s why I love it. It’s tiny rats strapped to rockets, flinging themselves through chaotic platforming levels. It’s the kind of stupid fun I need after a long day pretending to be a functioning adult. Then there’s They Came From The Sky 2, which basically lets me destroy everything as a pixel-sized alien menace. It’s dumb, destructive, and a great way to work through any lingering passive-aggressive feelings. MokokoX surprised me—simple draw-the-line gameplay, but there’s enough bullet-dodging and anime weirdness to keep me coming back. If you’re into shooty things, Wolflame and Doomed to Hell are both bangers. The latter’s a roguelite where you shoot demons in hell, which is exactly as fun as it sounds.

Game Title UK Price (GBP) US Price (USD)
Rocket Rats £4.99 $5.99
Mosaic Chronicles £8.50 $9.99
They Came From The Sky 2 £10.29 $12.99
Keeper’s Toll £5.89 $6.99
MokokoX £8.50 $9.99
Doomed to Hell £9.29 $11.99
Wayward £5.59 $7.99
Ad Fundum £5.89 $6.99
Wolflame £4.99 $5.99
There’s No Easter Eggs £3.39 $3.99
Circus of TimTim £7.49 $8.99
Penny Larceny £9.99 $11.99
Filament £14.29 $16.99
Exiled Kingdom £6.69 $7.99
Dragon Spirits £8.50 $9.99
Black Book £19.99 $24.99
Hokko Life £15.99 $19.99

Now, if I want to feel clever instead of just clicky, Filament is my go-to. It’s a puzzle game where you’re untangling cables in an abandoned spaceship, and I’m convinced the ship was also haunted by an engineer who hated joy. Mosaic Chronicles is another great one for the chill vibes—solving puzzles by assembling stained glass art, while a fairytale plays out. Then there’s There’s No Easter Eggs, which is absolutely lying to you and knows it. It’s a short walking sim that pokes fun at itself and everything else. I had a weirdly good time with Penny Larceny too—it’s a heist-themed visual novel where you’re a career criminal trying to pay rent. Honestly, too relatable. And for something a bit grim, Keeper’s Toll has that old-school Soulslike feel without wasting my entire weekend. It’s short, sharp, and makes you earn every inch.

For something meatier, Exiled Kingdom gives you that crunchy classic RPG vibe. You know, decisions that actually matter, leveling up the hard way, and dying because you picked the wrong dialogue option three towns ago. Black Book is one of the strangest, coolest games here—it’s a mix of card battles, Slavic folklore, and a cursed book that probably violates five different religions. Then there’s Hokko Life, which is like Animal Crossing for people who want more control and fewer tanuki loans. Wayward is pure survival nerd heaven. You start with nothing, starve a bit, and eventually build your own little world if the bears don’t kill you first. Rounding out the chaos, Circus of TimTim, Dragon Spirits, and Ad Fundum each offer their own brand of madness. One’s a circus gone wrong, one’s dragons and arcadey stuff, and the last is… well, I’m still not sure what Ad Fundum is, but it’s a ride.
