Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 16 might just be one of the most anticipated manga chapters of the year, especially after the beginning of what is being hyped up as the final battle of this short manga. Fans are incredibly excited to see how the battle between Yuka Okkotsu and Dabura Karaba is going to go in the upcoming chapters, with Mahoraga being summoned by the former already.

JJK Modulo chapter 16 is going to be quite an exciting ride for all the fans, but most of the attention is going to be on Mahoraga, as he begins to adapt to the extraterrestrial cursed technique of Dabura. For the third time in the entire franchise, Mahoraga is fighting against one of the strongest, and once again, is going to give the fans one of the most exciting and intense battles.
Mahoraga’s Adaptation Begins In JJK Modulo Chapter 16

- Mahoraga Will Surprise Dabura
At the end of the previous chapter of the manga, fans saw Yuka Okkotsu emerging on the battlefield in Shinjuku and immediately summoning Mahoraga with her Ten Shadows Technique. To avoid damage, Yuka hid in the shadows, and Dabura, who was involved in the ritual, became the target of the Divine General. Dabura immediately skewered Mahoraga with his powerful light beams. But, as fans know, this doesn’t mean that he is done for. At the end of the chapter, Mahoraga’s adaptation clearly started and it is time for this adaptation to continue now in JJK Modulo chapter 16.

In the upcoming chapter of the manga, fans will most definitely get to see Mahoraga take a bunch more attacks from Dabura. Each time he gets attacked, the wheel is going to spin and Mahoraga is going to continue the adaptation process.
With each spin of the wheel, he is going to get used to Dabura’s attacks and that is where Dabura could struggle. Fans are very well aware of the fact that Dabura is a very powerful sorcerer and he could potentially end Mahoraga in a single blow. However, it is highly unlikely that Dabura knows the mechanics of how Mahoraga works. He most likely does not know that taking out Mahoraga means utilizing an almost nuke-like attack that eviscerates completely.
Dabura utilizing small attacks against Mahoraga, just as Sukuna did in Shibuya, could become his undoing in JJK Modulo chapter 16, as Mahoraga would go on to adapt to all of his light-based attacks and then deal with them efficiently.
Mahoraga Will Give Dabura A Lot Of Trouble
In JJK Modulo Chapter 16, it is highly likely that Mahoraga will go on to adapt to some of Dabura’s cursed technique. Dabura’s light pillars will probably not work on Mahoraga anymore and he will realize this immediately. Dabura will most likely switch his attack pattern in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 16 just to give Mahoraga a bit more trouble.

After 4 Years, Jujutsu Kaisen Has Been Officially Dethroned By A New Anime
Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the biggest anime series, but it was just dethroned in theaters.
Of course, Mahoraga will take more hits, but that will also give him extra adaptation and limit the scope of what Dabura can do in battle moving forward. No matter which way fans look at it, Dabura will face a lot of trouble in this fight, even if it feels like Mahoraga is the one taking the brunt of the damage at the moment.
Dabura’s Cursed Technique Will Be Elaborated Upon
JJK Modulo chapter 16 will give the fans a proper look at Dabura’s cursed technique. In the previous chapter, it was explained that Dabura’s cursed technique is essentially murderous intent given a tangible form along with light. As seen towards the end of the chapter, Dabura gave light itself the property of murderous intent and was able to manipulate it freely.
A part of Dabura’s cursed technique remains unknown still, and that is most likely going to be uncovered in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 16 and the chapters that are to follow. At the same time, fans should also keep in mind that Dabura’s cursed technique will most likely allow him to give this murderous intent property to other elements around him, which would make him very overpowered.
Having a punching bag such as Mahoraga in battle who can adapt, heal, and counter all attacks would be the perfect opportunity for anyone to utilize their full skill set. Gege has the opportunity to show the fans what Dabura can do in combat and how he compares to the likes of Gojo and Sukuna in battle. In that regard, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 16 is going to be pivotal in understanding the true strength of Dabura Karaba and fans absolutely cannot wait to see how he deals with Mahoraga this week.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s sequel, called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, runs in the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. The series is set 68 years into the future, after the events of Shinjuku Showdown. The main characters of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo are Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu, the grandchildren of Yuta and Maki. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 16 will be released on December 21, 2025.
