This post contains spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen.
As the main character of Jujutsu Kaisen, the spotlight is always on Itadori Yuji. Every action, every move is closely monitored by the audience. This has been true for all the seasons, including the third, which covers multiple arcs. In fact, in the first episode of Season 3, Itadori Yuji was being hunted by Yuta Okkotsu. Since then, a lot of time has passed, and currently, Itadori is inside the first Tokyo Colony. In Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 7, a shocking detail about Itadori Yuji was confirmed.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Kenjaku vs Yuki Tsukumo, Explained
When Choso was spent, she stepped in to defeat Kenjaku. This is the brutal story of one of Jujutsu Kaisen’s most pivotal fights.
Itadori Yuji’s Father Was Finally Revealed In Culling Game
- Jin Itadori Is Yuji’s Father
- Kenjaku took over Kaori’s body
In the Culling Game arc, a flashback was shown in which a man with glasses was talking to Itadori’s grandfather, Wasuke. After a while, it became clear that the person with glasses was Yuji’s father, Jin Itadori. In the flashback, Jin was talking about his wife to Wasuke. Jin was not pleased by Wasuke’s opinion of Kaori. However, his son was pretty clear that he wouldn’t stand for any disrespect and would leave the room if Wasuke kept on talking about Kaori. Jin was also concerned that Yuji might remember all the talk.
Since it was an extremely short interaction, it was difficult to understand what kind of person Jin truly was. If one were to make a guess, then Jin was likely a loving father and husband. He was protective of Yuji, and he wanted to make sure that his son would only have good childhood memories. Furthermore, Jin loved Kaori and deeply cared about her.
Kenjaku Had Taken Over Kaori’s Body
In the first few minutes of JJK Season 3, Episode 7, Kenjaku was seen talking to Sasaki. Kenjaku was explaining how he had taken great pains to erect barriers. He also explained that he was giving people a chance to leave once. Gsh agreed, after which Kenjaku began escorting her out of the barrier. Before waking up, Kenjaku thanked Sasaki for being friends with his son. While Kenjaku did not mention his son’s name, Sasaki was smart enough to figure out that he was talking about Itadori Yuji.
This reveal reaffirms that Kenjaku had taken over Kaori Itadori (if there was any doubt). So, Kenjaku is Itadori Yuji’s parent. Even though he thanked Sasaki, it is quite obvious that Kenjaku does not care about Yuji. After all, Kenjaku is a shrewd individual who only cares about himself and his goals.
Kenjaku Is The Main Villain Of Culling Game
Kenjaku Will Ruin Humanity Forever
The Culling Game has already begun, and there are multiple sorcerers, both new and old, who are competing. In the latest episode, Yuji had to fight a couple of new jujutsu sorcerers. Of course, Yuji didn’t want to kill them, but the two were not holding back at all. They wanted to earn points, and for that, they needed to kill others. Unfortunately for them, Yuji was an ordinary person, and it hardly took him a couple of minutes to defeat them. Seeing human beings hunt each other like animals is not a pretty sight, and it’s all because of Kenjaku’s mad desire.
Most fans already know that Kenjaku wants to forcibly evolve humanity, and for that, he is willing to go to great lengths. According to Tengen, Kenjaku has been trying to evolve humanity for centuries. When Kenjaku was stopped by the user of Six Eyes twice, he decided to kill the next one, but when that also failed, he changed his approach. Instead of killing the next user of Six Eyes, Kenjaku decided to seal away the next. Luck also began to side with him as Toji Fushiguro killed the Star Plasma Vessel, breaking the cycle that had existed for years.

With the Star Plasma Vessel gone, all Kenjaku needed to do was seal away Gojo Satoru, but he knew that it wouldn’t be easy. So, he sought help from Mahito’s group to bring about the Shibuya Incident. Kenjaku knew Gojo’s weakness, so he formulated a perfect plan to ensnare him. Unfortunately for the rest of the world, it worked, and Gojo Satoru was sealed away in the Prison Realm. With Gojo out of the picture, Kenjaku could continue his plans. Since the Culling Game has already begun, Kenjaku’s eyes will be on Tengen. The latter was already aware of Kenjaku’s desire, which is why he asked Choso and Tsukumo to stay behind, as they would protect him if the sorcerer got close. Choso and Tsukumo are amazing fighters, but it would be unwise to underestimate Kenjaku. After all, he is a sorcerer with centuries of fighting experience. He has witnessed the rise and fall of many incredible sorcerers, and he will use all of the information to bring down Tsukumo and Choso.
A Lot Is Riding On Itadori Yuji’s Shoulders
Itadori Must Save Gojo Satoru And Tsukimi
While Kenjaku is busy with Tengen, Itadori and his friends have to find a way to stop the Culling Game from destroying the entire country. Yuta Okkotsu has already begun his search, but Itadori and Megumi had to wait a bit longer. The two had to try to convince Kinji Hakari to join their group, which was a Herculean task. Hakari despised Jujutsu High, so he wasn’t ready to work with them. Thankfully, Kirara helped Itadori and Megumi by speaking to Hakari. After recruiting Hakari, the team could finally head to Tokyo. Hakari and Panda went to colony 2 because Hajime Kashimo was there. Meanwhile, Itadori Yuji and Megumi went to colony 1 to seek out Higuruma.
