Keen-Eyed Players Noticed a Recent Change to Dia in The First Descendant

Dia has finally been revealed, and after being defeated, she’s placed in a healing pod in Albion. That’s where the story ended. But, keen-eyed players noticed a peculiar detail, a recent change to Dia in The First Descendant that many missed.

It has been a while since Season 2 Episode 2: Beyond the Void went live, so talking about Gley, Dia, and the whole storyline can’t be considered a spoiler anymore. Practically, we all know that it ends with Gley and Serena saving Dia from the Vulgus corruption and barely saving her life. Dia ended up in a healing pod, in a hospital (a new area opened) in Albion. It all ends there, and the future of Dia in TFD is uncertain at the moment. She proved pretty popular since her reveal, and the players demanded she be turned into a playable Descendant in the future. On the other hand, others had some more controversial takes on the whole story. But now, since the last update, some changes have gone almost unnoticed.

There’s Been a Change to Dia After the Last The First Descendant Update

It was noticed by some players and we confirmed it, Dia has been changed a little bit since the last TFD update. The “before and after” images are provided below.

As you can see, Dia’s hair went from white to brown. Since she’s Gley’s daughter, it is reasonable to assume that her Arche works in a similar way: her hair turns white when she gets furious. So, the general assumption is that this means that Dia is “cooling down”, ie, there is some advancement in her healing from the Vulgus corruption. “I think it’s cool that her condition dynamically changes as the season progresses. Good attention to detail,” commended ithoughtshewasolder.

We know that the next major updates are scheduled for April 17 and April 30, so keep your eyes peeled. Nexon may still add more of these subtle changes, teasing us with what’s happening to Dia.
