“Lagi Is Coming!” Monster Hunter Veterans Offer the Best Tips for Fighting Lagiacrus, the Next Addition to Wilds

As you probably know by now, the Second Free Title Update is near! Even though the official announcement of all the content and the release date is yet to be dropped, PlayStation has leaked the details ahead of time. So, the next Title Update is reportedly set to drop on June 30. It will feature quite a few additions, but one has been teased for quite a while! Yup, Lagiacrus (Lagi for short) will drop in Monster Hunter Wilds quite soon. But, if you haven’t fought him in previous installments, what should you expect? Well, the veterans gladly share their tips and tricks with the community.

What to Expect From Lagiacrus in Wilds, Explained by Monster Hunter Veterans

Players still haven’t had the chance to see the full design of this monster for Wilds, but those claws look quite dangerous. Also, Wilds players new to the Monster Hunter franchise get to enjoy seeing the veterans freaking out over Lagiacrus coming back. Thankfully, the veterans are quite helpful! So, how does one defeat Lagi?

The answer is quite simple – Thunder! One player, _DeltaRho_, noted: “Thunder element weapons. The amount of element isn’t too crazy, nothing like say Narwa weapons. They might decide to give him a unique weapon skill though? Who knows”.

GavinLIVE715 added: “Lagiacrus gear historically focused on Elemental Boosts on the armor, I’m hoping this translates to Lagi being an incredible Element armor set that has a place in Wilds where Element for most weapons is considered an afterthought. I hope the Armor complements element builds well, but especially Thunder. Maybe give it the Thunder version of Rath Scorcher on the set, they are eternal rivals after all”.

Obviously, we’re yet to know the full details, but it’s good to be prepared nonetheless. The official announcement and all the details should drop on June 26/27 (depending on where you live), so be on the lookout! Hopefully, this Title Update will get some less negative reviews. And, in the meantime, make sure you complete last week’s Event Quests, as new ones start soon! Happy hunting.
