Marvel Rivals Reveals Black Friday Sale

NetEase Games has revealed that it will be launching a Black Friday sale in Marvel Rivals on November 28, which will give players the opportunity to purchase a wide variety of skins with a fairly significant discount. Marvel Rivals recently launched Season 5, adding the popular X-Men character Gambit to the hero shooter’s ever-expanding roster. While many gamers seem to be enjoying their time with Gambit, some fans are even more excited to see Rogue come to the title when it’s major mid-season update goes live in December.

It was recently revealed that a whole new game mode will be coming to Marvel Rivals, which will allow two teams comprised of 18 players each to face off on the new Grand Garden map. The new mode is called Annihilation, and it looks to be a seriously chaotic experience. With 36 players running around the map at any given moment, it can be hard to keep track of everything happening on the screen, though it does look like quite a bit of fun. NetEase Games is likely hoping this game mode will be a big hit with fans, as it recently experienced a lot of success after launching its PvE Marvel Zombies game mode. In fact, the mode was so successful that the developers extended its availability and promised that fans will see similar experiences at some point in the future. Gamers will be able to jump into the new Annihilation game mode when it launches on November 27.

In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games revealed that it will be launching a Black Friday sale in Marvel Rivals, allowing players to purchase a wide variety of skins at a discounted price. At first, gamers will be offered 20% off eligible items, but things seem to heat up from there. After making a purchase, fans will receive a coupon that should offer them an even bigger discount on the next one. According to the post, it should be possible to continually stack these discounts to qualify for even bigger savings. The Black Friday sale won’t apply to all the skins in Marvel Rivals, however, as only items from Season 3 and earlier will be eligible. This means that anyone looking to pick up new skins for Angela, Daredevil, or Gambit will be out of luck.

The sale seems to be happening at the perfect time, as Marvel Rivals‘ Anniversary Celebration will be giving players 2,400 Units to spend in the game’s store. When paired with the Black Friday discount, it’s possible players will be able to pick up multiple cosmetics at no cost whatsoever. In addition to some free currency, players will also be given a legendary skin for Jeff the Land Shark called Jeff the Business Shark as a part of the anniversary event. The skin shows the goofy mascot sporting some oversized glasses and a professional suit. The Anniversary Celebration event will also be kicking off on November 27 alongside the Annihilation game mode and Black Friday sale.
