Monster Hunter Wilds Review Embargo Lifted!

Monster Hunter Wilds is the talk of the town. Scheduled to be released on the last day of February 2025, fans everywhere want to know more about the game. And they will, as the Monster Hunter Wilds Review Embargo is lifted today.

Monster Huner Wilds is the latest title in the Monster Hunter franchise as has taken the hearts and minds of players everywhere. And it’s not even released yet! The developers, Capcom, offered a couple of Open Beta tests, where the players could test out the game, with each beta run having a bit more content to show. Capcom even released a benchmark “app”, so you can check how well your PC can run the game. It is a common practice for publishers to allow journalists to play the game before the release, so they can write (hopefully positive) reviews. However, those reviews will only get published after a certain date.

Monster Hunter Wilds Review Embargo Lifted Today

As is the practice, Capcom has issued a review embargo for MH Wilds, meaning that only after a certain date do we get to see what the most famous gaming journalists and portals have to say about the upcoming game. And that time is now.

The official review embargo for Monster Hunter Wilds ends on February 24, at 7am PST / 3pm GMT / 4pm CEST, meaning that at the time of reading this article, the embargo has just been freshly lifted. You can already see reviews from popular websites, like IGN, GameRant, VCG, and more. It already has an 89 score on Metacritic.

From now on, we will see what the privileged few, who get to chance to test out Monster Hunter Wilds, have to say about it. We saw that the preliminary reviews, during the Open Beta, were pretty high, so we are confident that the reviews for the full game will be pretty good down the line. The rest of us just have to wait for a couple more days before Monster Hunter Wilds becomes available for everyone.
